The reason why i think i should win a set of springs are the following.

I am a dedicated scion life member who is setting off to a rough start. I have just moved out on my own and i am in great need of funds. I know that i really dont need these awsome springs but it would help me feel better about myself and as alot of people say the Lower the cooler. i don't need em but i would most surely like them. i got some rs type adjustable lowering coilovers and they are garbage a complete waste of my money bad ride bad look all that crap. i'm a college student who just lost his job so i am low on funds expecially since i have this huge car payment now. but basically i work hard and i love cars more than any other material thing on this earth , all i need for my scion is suspension rims and a body kit , no use in a body kit or rims with a whole bunch of ugly wheel gap. if i get these springs i will be supremely happy i will be overjoyed. thanx for the oppurtunity to try and win this beauty of a set.

i dont know much about your shocks but,your strut bar is hot i was planning on getting the sway bars . the write up on them are nothing but good . So to have the 3rd piece to the pie would be nice . I havent heard anything about the springs and it would be a great chance to review them. i have the hot lava (rs1.0 xb) with vinyl graphics and wish to lower the vehicle and take the hubcaps off and be the only one lowered on steel rims in the area . good luck to all.

I need springs because I can't stand the rough stock ride and the wheel gap and I'm a poor college student :cry:

1.I have had my box for since june and have been limited on what I can do to my car this time around.

2.Thus far I have a sub in it and nothing more.

3.Do to lack of funds that is all that has been complete on what was suppose to be considered a new project.

4. I am looking to get my intreast sparked to get this project going like I have with vehicles in that past because I know the xB has alot of potential.

5. Lowering it is the 1st step to get a project truely started.

I believe that I should win these springs because I have onyl had my xB for 2 months and I have been going to shows and slowly adding things to it as I go. I would be a great candidate for getting the Hotchkis springs seen by a lot of people. I attend every show that comes along in my area and I even go to out of town ones that I can make it to. I have been thinking of getting lowering springs but have not decided on a brand yet. By winning these it would solve my problem while advertising for Hotchkis. I like to keep things neat and if I ended up with Hotchkis springs that would also mena I would end up with Hotchkis sway bars and strut tower brace. Having these products on my car would be a nice investment for the company because they would be seen at shows like the NOPI Nationals, Daytona Beach on Spring Break, and many many more local shows. If I am picked you would surely agree that you have made the right choice and be confident that I would represent the company well.

Before buying a toaster, I used to drive a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse. It wasn't that fast in a straight line, but on ultra high performance summer tires and some suspension work, I've had quite a few people ask me why I don't brake... and my reply was always, "Because I don't have to."

I know the xB is slow. You know the xB is slow. The Geo Metro that just passed you at the traffic light knows the xB slow. Don't get me wrong, I love my xB, but it's the last car that I would ever have thought about buying. I drooled over Honda S2000s and BMW M3s, but my Scion xB is more than just a box with 4 wheels: there's something about the xB that makes it so much more fun than anything else I've ever driven.

As a Scion owner, how many times do you sit in bumper to bumper traffic, look at your car and grin? I don't know about you, but I do it every day. It doesn't matter if I'm driving on a winding back road or creeping along in 2nd gear at 10mph -- I love driving my car. Speed is irrelevant to me.

We both know that you're reading these forums because you have a passion for Scions. Owning a Scion is more than discussions about horsepower and 0-60 times: we make threads about how elated we were when we found out that we could fit two mountain bikes in the cargo area. We also posted our best gas mileage.

I guess you could call me a "ricer" or an "import tuner", but I have no power-adder modifications on my car. I don't believe in straight line acceleration either, but I also believe that a well-tuned suspension more than makes up for it.

I will probably never install a DC Sports 4-in-1 ceramic header, a full header-back exhaust system, or the Blitz supercharger. However, my plans do involve lightweight alloy wheels, high performance tires, a chassis frame brace, an anti-sway bar or two, and some TRD shocks/struts and springs (unless someone would like to donate a JIC Magic FLA-T2 setup to me).

When the next season of SCCA Solo events comes around, I would like to show people that I can do just as well in a toaster as I could in a sports car, if not better. My friend actively races his Honda Prelude VTEC and he says that I should just race my Eclipse because the xB isn't worth it, but there is never a substitute for good handling -- on or off the track.

Anyways, if I could manage better lap times than a highly modified H22 with twice the power output of an 1NZ-FE, it might put an end to that Honda ego problem... and give Scion owners something to brag about.

Its kinda hard trying to explain to somone elese why I think I need something, just does not feel right. But here is my story.

I got my 2005 Camo xB for my 16th birthday, and am very happy with it. As everyone, I have plans for my xB, lowering, wheels, grills, emblems, lights, security system, tint, etc. Needless to say, that is alot of cash (for me). I have a full load at school right now all AP, Honers and Accelerated courses with debate competetions almost every Friday and Satuday at the top high school in Arkanasas, Fayetteville High with a 3.5, and I barely have time to write this note. A job is somthing I cannot get until summer rolls around if I am not out college searching and taking tests I still would not have enought to get started on my list. Any spare change I have is spent on gas and food at school. A set of lowering springs would he extremly helpful, in helping me get closer to my compleated list. Fayetteville is a very twisty area and being able to turn those corners fast are important :twisted: . I have been looking at Tein, TRD, Hotchkis, and Goldline very closely and am looking at your spings because of your rep and quality products. I have only herd good things about your company and think it is very nice to offer these springs to the members of ScionLife. I am rocking the twist caps, and will be for a while, and a set of springs would definatly enhance the stance and apperance. My parents are not really keen on me modifying my car, making it all the more harder to get things done. But they cannot say no to a free set of springs... I am living in Fayetteville Arkansas a town in North West Arkansas and have one of the 2 xB's and the only camo xB. Not like it does not stand out already, but springs would only add to that attention and of course bring attention to the company who made it happen. My xB has never been to a carwash and I take very good care of my car and its accessories and will always sparkle. Also, I am a rather active member of ScionLife and have been around for a while and post when I can. ScionLife is a great site and has helped me in the past I hopefully it will this time too. You can look around and see many post about me asking about prices and my lists of things I want done. It is something I want badly.

That is in the ballpark of 10 reason maybe a little more

why should I win the Hotchkis lowering springs ........ Hmmm, lemme see.

I can not think of any reason better than any already listed here. Have a mortgage, 2 kids involved in theater which drains my bank, wife has fixed income on disability due to car accident 7 years ago ........ we all have expenses to go with our wants and need lists.

I have a clean TCM xB sittin in my driveway that would look sweet lowered by Hotchkis and push me to get those rims I keep eying up.

well, first I would like to get a Hotchkis front windshield banner, but it would be so uncool to have the banner without Hotchkis parts on my box.

As for the springs themselves, I need to have surgery do to an arthritic right hip and left knee. The lowered springs will help me get in and out of my xB will less pain, both before and after I have surgery [please insert great rivers of tears here]. so others may WANT them or cry POOR for them, for me it is a MEDICAL necessity. Which is the same reason I bought the xB in the first place. :!:

edit: my insurance company has stated that the springs are NOT a covered Item on my insurance plan :cry:

1. I am a poor high schooler, not a college student, who is trying to find adequate funds to make it to school while still making my Scion xB look cool.

2. I have 17 inch wheels (not these 19s or w/e people above have) and if you have seen my wheel gap....you would see I need them incredibly badly.

3. I am one of the founders of a Nebraska club which will have its first meeting October 3rd. I would love to have a nice looking box to show with other Scion lovers.

4. Hotchkis is one of the best aftermarket companies out there. I know there products, I know there quality, and I know it's best. I might have done this if other companies did this but I especially want the quality that Hotchkis has to offer.

5. This is a very petty reason but my car is one of the top vehicles in my parking lot at my school. With it lowered I know it would be best by far.

6. My insufficient funds will cause me to miss out on any lowering. Without this kit I would probably never get it lowered and everyone knows how sad that would be. The xB handles ok but is nothing compared to Hotchkis.

7. I am a complete, all out Scion fanatic. I'm willing to travel all over to show my Box. I love my car. It is just missing something like springs.

8. Very importantly I dont know how long I can go being asked "Is that a 4x4 SUV?"
Not only does it kill ego to think my box is 4x4 but it makes me realize how other people view my ride.

9. There are not many Nebraska Scions out there right now and I would be even in a more select crowd lowered. It would make me stand out a little better.

10. The Scion-Hotchkis relationship would be a breath of fresh air most of all. I love my Scion. I love Hotchkis. I think I need these badly. They are a must for someone like me without funds but is looking to have a great box!

1. I think I deserve the springs for many reasons. I am a college student with a
major in Business with emphasis on marketing and advertising.
2. Because of this, I can not go out and spend lots of money on my beloved xB.
3. I work 40hrs a week graveyard for a grocery store stocking shelves and such.
4. I love to go to shows and automobile events and sometimes will even stay up
more than 24 hours to do so. My xB has been in the Sacramento
Autorama/Import Motion.
5. I am part of Team NVS (North Valley Scions) and love to spread the word about
Scion and the products that companies have for them. When people stop me, I tell
them about Scion and show them what parts and mods I have done. Members of
my local dealership has thanked me for sending people their way.

I have the Hotchkis Swaybar (the first thing I chose when I purchased my xb) and why not have the matching springs. Cant afford to do any upgrades or trick it out like I want. But those springs would be perfect on my car, besides no one takes care of there car like I do and those springs needs to go to someone who values there car like I do. I visist the Hotchkis web site every day and dream of putting many of your products on my car, this is my chance for my dream to come true :wink: . I think i deserve to win because i am on my way to fixing my car up. Ive ordered some wheels that are taking a while and these springs would go perfect when i get my wheels installed someday. So please give me the springs. My only justification for deserving these springs is that I can provide greatest returns to Hotchkis.

The only reason why aftermarket manufacturers give away their products is in hope that they will receive more in return. I can justify donating the Hotchkis springs to my xA because the relatively small investment in doing so will yield more returns to the company than handing them to anyone else on this forum.

I attend a community college where I commute twenty miles round-trip five days a week, so my car is constently being seen on the streets and where it is parked in the school parking lot. With that in mind, I am willing to sport a windshield banner and/or other stickers representing Hotchkis wherever i go. My car is also driven all weekend long each weekend everywhere from San francisco to San Jose to Santa Cruz to be seen during trips with my family and dates. With plans to transfer to San Jose CSU within a year, my daily commute will be 100 miles each round-trip from my house seeing all the stock scions to be inspired to invest in hotchkis products.

Attending all of the car shows I can has always been a habit i share between my friends and I. And, as soon as my car is ready, I will be proudly representing Hotchkis within the shows as a participant here in California where the import scene is relatively large.

I have a Hyper Ground System grounding kit, Pivot Raizin voltage stabilizer, Injen Intake, DC Sports strut bar and Eibach springs as for modifications to my xA now. The reason why i would swap out my Eibach springs for Hotchkis is for its proven performance and a lower stance to accommodate the 16inch 5zigen Fn01R-C's I will soon have installed. My future plans also include the Hotchkis sway bars (a donation of this one would be nice, too).The already attractive xA along with the modifications I have and will have are sure to attract plenty of positive attention people will associate with Hotchkis.

Providing the springs to me will yield a bigger pay off over the other candidates here at ScionLife. Please consider my sincere proposal.

Being a college student taking 15 credit hours and then working 32+ hrs at work doesn't leave much time for tuning since I also never have money. Im trying to get a new club started out here but don't have the mods that everyone else has and springs would be a great start. All my money is to just keep my Box, buy books and classes, and pay insurance. Being just 18 and living on your own is hard enough with going to college to get my education adds to everything. Ive been wanting springs for a while now but could never afford it so hopefully yall will pick me and I can start on some better mods now.

I'm thinking of becoming a professional street racer. I know my xb isn't going to win too many races, but i would look cooler losing if my xb was lowered.

And trust me, being a poor college student without a lowered car is much better than being a poor 9-5 working stiff even with a nice low xb. I wish I had a car to lower when i was in college.

i believe i should win those springs because as a college student in alabama at JSU i don't have all that free money to beable to do all the mods i would like to on my xa and i was just researching and came to the conclusion of trying to purchase the sway bar set and springs from hotckis i was at nopi last weekend and i stood at the hotckis vendor for probally about an hour just talking to the reps. and pricing parts. i would really love to win these springs and on top of that the scion life stickers would be on point to so don't forget about the bama boy trying to do all he can to his scion while putting himself the school . 8. My dealer commended me on my tint, and said that he was glad I was doing something to it besides just floormats, in the form of my TRD exhaust, TRS clutch, Hotchkis Strut Tower Bar, and plans to drop it to get that sticky road experience.
9. I keep the car meticulously clean in order to best represent the xA as a beautiful machine, since everyone and their mom buys the Mini and Civic HB around here.(I love driving by the Mini dealer and seeing people point at my wedge)
10. I am going to put a Hotchkis decal on the car anyway, and it would be best in my case to have the matching springs to go with my strut bar, so as to leave me from looking like someone who isn't brand loyal, which I am sometimes to a fault.

These are the reasons I thought of, but one other thing is that I am going to ask very nicely. Please consider me for the giveaway, or if not for the giveaway, for a consideration in the sponsorship department. I plan on participating in car shows as soon as it is possible. I am going to the Scion Exposed in Philly and would love to show people what an xA with Hotchkis only suspension looked like. I am only working my fulltime job right now, so that leaves my weekends free to be a rolling billboard at carshows and events for Hotchkis.. Thanks for you time.

Everybody has a sob story, or some long drawn out reason. I will just be straight foward and honest... Ive never had a hotchkis product, and if they want to stand by their product then they have to make me a believer. There are many other choices out there, why shouldnt I go with them.

I feel that I deserve the springs because I am going to scion exposed in philly and I have gone to VIP event II not to mention I make it a point to go to all of the car shows that I have in my area or in any of the states that are a part of the regional northeast. When people ask me about my car I tell them everything about it and explain how the car came to be and tell them about what all has been done to my car and who it was courtesy of. Street Glow, Pioneer, etc. and the only company whos part that I am missing so far that i can think of from my list is you guys.

I deserve to win Free Hotchkis Springs because three months ago a drunk driver totaled my 2002 Echo, the first new car I ever bought, and my outlook wasn’t quite too good at the time, until I learned about Scion, two weeks later, I was happily riding in my 2004 xA, of course, the xA never gets as much love as the xB, so I was missing out on some love, but, I came to learn about the xA RS1.0, and I found myself thinking, “Why didn’t that drunk guy wait two months to smash my Echo,” because I’d much rather have a red xA than a silver xA, but I thought that maybe I could make my silver xA look nicer with some cool modifications, but that won’t happen because I don’t have any money, I don’t even have enough money to get married, I’m supposed to be getting married next May which is less than eight months away, and we’ve done no planning, because we don’t have any money, I keep trying to get another job, but nobody ever calls back, I did get one call from this lady and we had some trouble setting up an interview, so she said she’d call back, but that was over a week ago, so I’ve also started doing these internet survey things to try and “get paid for my opinion”, but now I get 100 spam e-mails a day and people call my cell phone all the time, I think I’ve made about $4 already, woohoo, I really need another job, because of the wedding but also my fiancée is in debt, and she makes no money, so I’m trying to help her with that, but it’s hard, of course it’s hard, anyways, I have no money for my xA, which by the way, was rear-ended two weeks ago, not so bad though, I just got the estimate done yesterday, and they are going to replace my bumper, everything is covered under my insurance, thankfully, so next week, I’ll get to roll in a rental car for a couple days, I doubt it will be my dream red xA, but as long as it’s not a Dodge Dakota like the last time, I should be OK, so after my bumper is replaced, I’m going to spring for it’s first wash, it’s really dirty, and it’s all stock, by the way, I have a $50 card for Scion accessories, but I don’t think that will buy me a rim, or a sport pedal, or anything nice, maybe, I can buy a shift knob, wow, I’d really like some rims, but that’s not going to happen, I look at them online a lot and I can never get them, so it just depresses me, wait, just a moment ago, my fiancée called and told me she’s pregnant which I already knew because she’s over a month late, so now I have to pay for a baby, which means, even if I did win Free Hotchkis Springs, I couldn’t afford to have them installed, yes, I am happy about my baby, of course I am, but babies are expensive and babies and spring installations will put me into debt, so I’m hoping if I do win some springs, they will include installation, which I know is not the case, so what the hell can I do?

Don't have 10 reasons why I want them. I would like to lower my BOX. The main reason I haven't been able to is my Wife thinks it is low enough and I can't seem to sway her into my way of thinking. My best chance at a proper ride height would be to get them for free and then she would have to let me swap them out, then see it does truly ride better and Look better with such a fine product. I really need these Hotchkis lowering springs more than anyone. I am a 4 ft. tall dwarf with one leg shorter than the other. I am bald, have a unibrow and a prominent third nipple which keeps me from riding around shirtless while perched upon the phonebooks atop my xB's seats. Instead of the stock handle above the drivers door in my xB, I had to install straps comparable to those on NY subway trains so I can hoist my happy, tiny ___ up into my ride.

Once I get these springs installed, I will no longer need an engine hoist to hang myself over the engine compartment to work on my motor. I will be able to use a step stool. I can loose the straphanger and get in my ride simply by using the curb. C'mon guys ...... make a little person happy :D .

Because I'm a parts guy and I'm freakin' RICH! That's right, my car has all the mods and I got most of them for FREE BABY! Giving these springs to me would simply be following the natural order of things. hey, why do i think i could use them. well i am 17 years old. and im in collge. i have a part time job. and get about 10-20 hours a week. that thats what im trying to live off of. as anyone knows that is barly making payments. it imposible to find a job in CA when ur only 17. i finaly got the one i have now but its a nice 30 miles away. the drive is actuly very nice in the scion. i live with my parents. and they also have a scion. so we are a scion family. my only mod. i have on my car is the dent i got when it rolled forward into a chain linked fence. i dont even have cash to fix that. all the cash i get goes right into my gas. with my girlfriend living an hour away the gas doesnt last to long and so i dont get to see her much. the new springs would be put to very good use. i have started a club here in fresno, but im like the only person that doesnt have any real mods. :( id like to put some style to my car other than my dent.

I would like to say that I wanted them but they do not fit my TC. I actually would like to get the springs for my wife's XA. She is so loving her new car. My wife and I went to a scion meet and she saw two guys pull up in hooked up XA"s . She was so extatic to see these cool looking cars could look like her stock XA. She is shy normarly, but this time she went up to these guys and started to conversate to them about their XA's. I have never seen my wife so happy( besides our wedding) to have a car.

I think that she deserves the shot at having the springs. It's her turn to look cool like the other cats.

If ya got a set for a tC - Throw at me, cuz they will get SEEN and USED - Through Malibu Canyons, Angeles Crest, possibly Pahrump and Willow Springs, etc... And in 2 major markets, Los Angeles and Las Vegas ( both where I AM and AM )

Wll im 20, I work at walmart so you know i don't have the money to get springs. I've had my local scion dealership Gloucester Scion say that hotchkis spring are the best springs you can get on the market, and they have recomended me to buy them. I am not in college i don't even have the money to do that. My last car broke down so i HAD to et a new one, and i chose the scion vecause i like the body style and the gas millage to save on money. I don't live at my moms, haven't been there in almost 6 months. I have 5 bills they are (elec, Phone, cable, scion, and insurance) $1300 in bills a month... I'm even looking on ebay for performance parts...
I have always wanted a hotchkis set and it would be greatly appreciate if i was selected the winner of this contest...

I don't deserve to win these free springs. I don't have any family hardships, my wife is cool, I have a nice place I rent for cheap and I have a job that I really like (though it doesn't pay a whole lot). I have bills like anyone else, school loans, credit cards, car payments, etc... but I deal with it. Though I'd like to get a free set of springs to improve my new XB, there is someone more deserving than myself.

i'll start with a little history on my car situation. i've been a vw nut since i got my first car at age 20, and have had 9 volkswagens from then until now (age 23). i never in my life thought i'd be caught dead buying a toyota, until one saturday i got extremely ____ed working on one of my older volkswagens, which was my daily driver at the time. just got tired of constantly working on older cars to keep them on the road as daily drivers, and decided to cut back on some other things in my budget to squeeze in a new car (under $14k).

SO i test drove several makes and models in the price range, and out of sheer curiosity, went to the scion dealer to test drive an xB. i signed a contract that afternoon for my new xB, and couldn't have been happier with it until...

with a little over 1000 miles on the car, i hit a fox doing 55mph coming home from PA late one night (had been fixing a friend's computer 2.5 hours away, was 3 miles from home at 1:30 am). no time to brake, the fox jumped out of the trees along the road without warning. the fox broke the front valance, ripped the bumper cover, bent the radiator support, which in turn broke the AC line behind it, venting all my refrigerant out. then the fox proceeded to make a full rotation around the right wheel, ripping out the fender liner, breaking the windshield washer reservoir, and ripping out the parking light wiring, breaking the headlight housing in the process.

now when i bought the car, the only way i could afford insurance was to have $1000 deductibles for collision and comprehensive. i didn't know that it was cheap to lower the comprehensive deductible (what would have covered the fox hit) until it was too late. so this whole repair needed to come out of pocket, and i did not have the money to do it, so i had to drive the car around w/ the damage, saving to buy each individual piece i needed until i had them.

before i could buy more than i couple of the pieces, i had an accident in the parking lot of my apartment building doing about 5mph...caught the lip of my wheel on a concrete post sticking up from the ground that i couldn't see- bent back the whole left front suspension- control arm, strut, crossmember, as well as bending the wheel and blowing the tire. before i could get stopped it then dragged along the left side of the car, damaging the rocker molding, front door, rear door, and caught the dogleg on the quarter panel, bending it back. thousands of dollars of damage. the suspension crossmember isn't even available- it's still on national back order.

i took out a loan to pay the 2x$1000 deductibles (one comprehensive, one collision), and finally got the car back from the body shop (they bent the crossmember back to where the vehicle at least tracks straight until i can get a new one). I had never had an accident in my life until i owned this car, and it was feeling like it wasn't meant to be...but i decided to tough it out and keep the car, give it another chance. i still love the car, and my initial mod, which i now can't afford, was going to be springs. i'm aiming to work predominantly on handling, and with the addition of the $2000 loan and the new increase in my insurance rates, i will not be able to afford to mod for a good time to come.

i would absolutely love to win those springs. they happen to be exactly the ones that were at the top of my list, and i would certainly follow those up with a number of other hotchkis suspension accessories in the months to come. please help me renew my enthusiasm for my xB!!

Ok here is a few reasons why I should own these springs I do apologize if this sounds a little weepy eyed. However most of you all will understand after I tell you a few stories about not only my scion purchase but what I have been through in the past few years and why scion and scionlife are so AWSOME. First lets go on my purchase, when I bought my scion from UNIVERSITY MOTORS IN MORGANTOWN WV they charged my fiances credit card twice for the deposit. Then they told me to come back the next day so as they could put my stereo however when I came back they didn't have a stereo and they only had one set of hubcaps .... the ones I didnt want to begin with. So I had to wait two weeks for a stereo and when I asked what I should do the dealer said I DONT KNOW GET A BOOM BOX AND PUT IT IN THE BACK SEAT. A boom box for a BRAND NEW CAR .... thats just blasphame. Then when he put my hubcaps on he shoved it on so hard that he smashed the valve stim in between the clips that hold it onto the wheel. well to make a long story short on that ... it sheared off and left me and my fiance stranded. YEA I KNOW THAT YOU ALL ARE LIKE DANG GET THIS KID some violins cause this is messed up why hes crying about things like this and Im sure that there have been alot of stories out here like this but what tops this off is that I JUST GOT BACK FROM IRAQ in JANUARY and my x wife cheated on me while I was over there and I used to have two really nice cars before this and she took both of them. My xb is the first car that I have had since then. Also I had to have a kidney transplant when I was in high school and I have had so many medical bills that I have been unable to customize my car. and some lowering springs and some scion life stickers are just what I need to get my life back together

i think i should beable to win the springs by hotchkis for my scion xa because being a full time stundent in college and also working full time during the week kind of makes it hard to beable to do everything i want to on my car because the money goes to putting me thought class but n/e ways all i want to do is work on my xa i have of vision of what i want it to be and these springs are include in that vision. i want to get full hotchkis suspension suck as SPRINGS and the sway bar set , then i want to put the weapon r intake on it and the blitz supercharger in the future. but if i won these springs it would really jump start me for making my xa a totally new machine please scion life these springs are desperately needed and i would love to have them thanks gerald ridinxa33 Jacksonville alabama

I dont really need them....but I want them really bad. I currently have TRD springs in. They dropped the car nice enough. But another guy in our car club has the Hotchkis springs. He took me for a spin.

I like the way they ride allot better, much more smooth, and the drop is much more suitable for the car. I'm currently running Hotchkis sway bars. I will be using Hotchkis strut bars, front and back (little fab work required for this one). I really want to have a full Hotchkis suspension. Not TRD and Hotchkis. Plus I go to as many shows as possible. Scions in Minnesota are a rare thing. This would just be a free commercial for Hotchkis heh :)

Only requirement I'd have (if I were to win) is a set of red 1"x6" Hotchkis graphics for the windows :) To keep my red scionlife decals from getting lonly lol.

The second reason why I should win...(Besides the fact that I am the only who replied in spanish... :D )

Is because I live in the NorthEast Part of the states (NY-NJ-CT) metro area to be more specific. The import "Scene" here in the NorthEast is not as big as the So-Cal or Nor-Cal scene or Miami scene. My team and I are trying to represent Scion to the fullest here in the NorthEast and attend plenty of Meets, Show and the likes and you would get great exposure here in the NorthEast....What do you say?? :D

I could only think of 5 good reasons for the springs. They are:

5. I need them to be more competitive in car shows.
4. I need the extra performance because my ride to work is 70 miles and much of that is through heavy deer traffic areas. Better control might save my life.
3. My wife keeps complaining about all the money I try to spend on the car.
2. I love the lowered look.
1. The factory springs are dirty.

I should since I just left the military after 12 greuling years of submarine duty. On top of that I just had to buy a house in $$$ Maryland and had a kid at the same time. Now I'm broke with no money to spend on the ride and it just sits there plain jane 24/7!

I believe the springs should be given to me.........because i am me.
I have been wanting to get the spring and sway bar package and this would
help in the money department.....also i work for Toyota and customers always
ask for recommendations on suspension products, having first hand knowledge
of a products capabilities on my own vehicle would be very influencial.

i would love a set of lowering springs! i was planning to jump my xb with my skateboard and film it! the inch and a half your springs lower my car will guarantee some xtra nosebone action,and you guys could use the footage in a ad . i ve jumped my old car <cadillac eldorado> so the box should be fun. thanks for the chance to win some springs. davematic

The reason I think I deserve the srpings? I am 22 years old and work full time to take care of my wife and son. I go to school part time in hopes of getting a degree before I die. One class for one quarter cast me $1,060.00. Family health insurance runs me the outrageous cost of $612.00 PER MONTH! So I think you can see where the majority of my money goes! All of my time and money is dedicated to my wife and son and school and the few minutes I do have to myself are spent washing my xB and trying to make it look nice inside and out. I saved my money until I had enough for a nice downpayment and now I would like to try to get some mods going on. I saved my "allowance" for two months to buy a Borla exhaust and then for my anniversary my wife bought me a CAI and now my car sounds great but it lacks the look I want. It needs to be lowered! I hate to sound pitiful but PLEASE choose me! I think I desereve it! I work hard, I am a dedicated family man at the age of 22 and I am a dedicated sionlifer. I have never won anything in my life and if this were the first thing I ever won I would be so happy!

i think i would be a good candidate for these springs because...

1. i just recently bought my xb and dont have a whole lot of money to do anything to it just yet
2. i would DEFINATLY put a hotchkis sticker on my box (even though i am totally opposed to stickers!!)
3. i am the only person in my city to own one and the more different the better
4. i am a hard worker
5. i am very appreciative of everything i own
6. this is my first new/nice car to ever own
7. i love my xb and would like to show it how much i love it by getting it something nice
8. im NOT a ricer!
9. i think it would look nice lowered
10. i have never won anything in my LIFE

Because, my dealer has set me back "another" 3 weeks on my tC, totalling 6 freaking weeks,, 6! 6! so guess what,,, they put me in a loaner, do you have any idea what they "loaned" me????? A freaking Xbox!!! :evil: Now I'm riding around on this little wannabee UPS truck, and the freaking U.S. postal service guys are laughing at me!! WTF! So I need the springs to offset the un-coolness factor that this lunchbox will do to me over the next three weeks! If not,, I fear I may be scarred for life, You dont wanna scar me,, do you?

I am not going to say i NEED, but i would use the springs!! The wifey wants to hook up the Box, but we are about to sign on our house on 10-1-04. The out of pocket for the first 90 days is over 5 grand!! needless to say I live in an apt now and will not be able to afford any mods for about 10 months, or until the house gets built, moved in etc.. I hear hotchkis makes great stuff, I would love to try em out....Heck , I would even put your STICKER on the Xb!!!! You see, on our box, stickers of any kind are forbidden!!!! BUUUT for you guys, and a free set of springs, I would even consider a LARGE sticker :)...and of COURSE the scion life sticker as well!!!! Anywhoo, even if we DONT win, I just wanted to say thanks to the people at hotchkis, its great to see a company getting involved, and being aware of where the market is for there product! I dont have an Xa or Xb, I have a tC so if it works on the tC. Then I want it. :D Im not rich and im not poor but I dont think ill be getting a set of lowering springs anytime soon.

hey i have ten really good reasons why i should win the drop springs.

1. i use to own a 94 almost show quallity s10 only needed biger wheels and paint, and someone slowed down past to let someone in at a stop light and i was switching radion stations, when i hit them about 30 cuz my breaks relly sucked and had really low suspension so my bumper didnt even touch the car in front of me so it pushed my rad support about 5 in from firewall so they totalled it out.had to strip it completely
2. my brakes went out on my s10 and slammed into the back of x gf car didi 4000 in dammage. the brake guy said only right front tire worked. lol
3. got xb and took sister and gf to highscool everday.
4. work 40 hours a week sense 10 grade i just graduated.
5. finally afford a good car and get stuck with 15% intrest
6. got 13000 miles on my xb got it jan 31 2004
7.a car got side swiped infront of me at an intersection and flew into my new xb bending frame rails and destroying bumber cover and rad support, when i was on the way to work.
8. got a rental car and was buy my gf her homecomming dress and on the way home and 10 days after getting hit i get rearend by a truck with my gf. the stupid hurricanes in fl where im in tampa area, keep knocking out lights and everyone stoped but the idiot behind me until late, so he hit me doing about 10 mph not a biggy but 10 days after last accident.
9. a tree falls on my dads house from the hurrcane and have to chop that up all day.
10. last but not least mis having a lowered vehicle which would help me customizing my car.

im a fresh outa high school student 8) that is paying for college as well as car and insurance payments. :shock: i would like to do many wonderful things to this car and show the world the many wonderful things a "box" can bring. having to pay for those items listed previously, i am tight on money for all those modifications i would like done on my 05 onyx blue, 5 spd, and COMPLETELY stock. the springs would be a GREAT 1st mod. for my wonderful car. this is my real 1st car that actually gets GOOD attention. in the past i got more of the bad, "ha ha ha" kind of attention. i would be so greatful to recieve such a wonderful gift. and PROUDLY sport HOTCHKIS and SCION LIFE. :D

Why do i deserve these springs, You may ask. Well let me tell you.
I'm a hard working college student, who doesn't have the money to fix up my xa at the moment, but have future plans of dropping every extra penny i have on it. I've also been following this car since the pre release of it in US. I was excited to see the Ist (isto hehe) finally here. It is not the most gutty car, but it has much potential. I plan to do a vitz supercharged motor swap, 50 shot nitrous as well as the regular goodies (exhaust, intake, headers). But any performance head knows that suspension is the most important thing to start out with. Always build the car from the ground up. I plan to build the most bad@ss scion on the west coast.
Unlike many others, i want to do this car justice. Absolutely no rice!I want to build a clean performance/show car that will make scion owners proud. All i'm asking for is a little donation, in this case, springs. These springs would look beautiful with tein, koni, or apexi shocks. If i don't win, thank you for reading my entry.

i dont wanna say that i desperately deserve it but i would like to say why i would like to have it....well i talked to my dad about how i wanted to get a new scoin tc, he was happy for me and wanted me to get this car..in the summer of 2004 in july he passed away...i havent seen my father for over a year and we talked on the phone only...i used to always talk to him sayin "dad i really want this car" we talked a lot about it...until the say in july when he passed away...he kept telling me how when i get it i should make it looks nice so he can see it next time he visits...if u think im making this up just to get a random set of springs im not..if needed i can prove this to you...my dad use to always show me and teach me things in a car ....its hard widout him in my life and i really want to get this....also my mom is in debt for paying off loans to the bank when she needed to take out thousands of dollars to pay my dad half of everything when they got divorced and when he moved to the philipines...im not trying to make u feel sorry for me, i jus would like these springs to put on my car....my dad would have laughed for me doing this and would like helping me put it on....sooo if you need proof...i will give it to you...i might not deserve it or be the person that should get this...im honestly telling you the truth from down in my heart...i would jus like this to help my car look nice for my beloved dad...if i dont win...to the winner congradulations and i hope your car looks nicer...im in school right now trying hard and would like to start to makin my new scion look nice.....thank you for reading my post...

Because I'm playing the worlds smallest violin for everyone else who wants some free gear, and my tC is still in Japan, and Im driving this xBox as a loaner. And I dont have a pity story.

Because I am one of like only 3 scions in my area and people ask me about my car all the time...who makes it what is it, what is it called, what all can you do to it, what all did you do to it. I just go down the list of possibilities and what all I did to it and the more that I say the more my friends want one and do the same things. And a set of springs would be another thing that I can add on my small list, but list non-the less, and that would increase sales for both scion and all of the perforance accessory providers. But the only ones that get mentioned are the ones that I have their parts on my car. Not to mention that I work at a store and y car sits in the parking lot and people look at it all day and at night I go cruise.

:D HI i think i should get the shocks quz i just can't seem to save any mony to mod up my ride....

HELP ME PLEASE!!!

I think I deserve the springs set because out of all suspensions set up out there, Hotchicks is the only brand I purchase for my vehile. I had a set of sway bars on my 2002 sentra spec-v, a set for my 2004 g35 coupe, they've been awsome performance from the sets. Now that I have the xb, no doubt I'll purchase the sway bars again. To combine the spring set, I'm looking at the best suspensions setup there is. The only hold back is that I dont have the money to drop my xb because I'm supporting my wife through college. I'm in the Marine Corps and I wish to have the best looking xb on base. Thanks

i'd like the hotchkis springs cuz my piece of ____ off brand adjustable spring setup is garbage. and i need a new good set of high quality and hotchkis is just about the best if not the best in the industry.
