i recieved a ticket for not having my new tags on my plate yet and after he left i was reading the ticket and he wrote doew the wrong colour for my car i have a flint mica and he wrote down red.
can i challange the ticket even tho he handed me the ticket in person?

It's possible. You can try arguing that if the officer interpreted the color black as red, how can you trust him to make sure he intrepreted the tags correctly. If you want to go extreme, try calling his mental state and visual acuity into question.

That is a good point.. You may have something there if the color is so distintly different.

You can't argue it because he has a camera on his squad car/bike which will show the tags, he may hav ebeen in a hurry, looking at another car that was driving by, etc etc, color doesnt affect your mental state especially if he is a good trooper. Either way, your tags are on the file as bad, they will relay back to the videa to proove that your tags are bad. If you wanted to continue with the arguement they could make a seperate case for your dispute with him but it won't drop your ticket.

you can u color defense in speeding tickets but i dont think you will likely get away with argueing it for tags.
