Default need opinions on the tC

Hi. I'm new to the forum and i'm thinking of getting a scion tc and i'd really like some of your opinions. it just seems like the car that i'd want. So please, post your own personal feedback on the scion, the pros and cons, ect.

Also, if I do end up getting it, are there vital things to get, or things that make it just that much more of a better car or whatever.

thanks!!

If you get one, get it BONE STOCK. The dealership makes its money from overcharging on accessories. You can buy them from www.trdsparks.com and get them for much cheaper.

i never thought i'd be the first one to say it, but try using the "search" feature of this site. there are quite a few threads pertaining to everything you are asking about.

making the car better....... that depends on what you want from your car and what you want to do w/ it.
I tend to be very negative compared to others on the site when it comes to listing pros and cons. Pros: looks nice, good seats, has decent go, will last a long time. Cons: thin paint, so-so gas milleage for the performance, high RPM highway cruising (5 speed)..... there is more but seems like you have made up your mind so go out there and get 1!! haha, then you'll develop your own pros and cons.

Yes, buy one stock, even if you have to wait for the one you want to get in. I know the dealership by me puts on basically everything on almost all of their cars, so tell them you want it stock. It's an awesome car, i'm glad i have one. And welcome to ScionLife!

I was looking at the Scion tC and Mazda 3. Test drove the tC and it was over. Been happy ever since Oct 'o4.

Test drive a couple cars before deciding on one. its a big decision and expense so choose wisely grasshopper.
If you do go with the TC which is for sure the best bang for the buck the only dealership upgrades I'd go with are the Ipod radio and auto dim mirror.

So get defualt?

Now does that mean getting the one at the scion dealership, or does it mean going to the scion site and ordering one that way and waiting? or does it not matter...

the only thing worth considering is the side airbags.. as it can not be installed afterwards.
