Does anyone know if the new 2008 headlights will fit on a 2006 tC?

 

go ask you dealer or talk to Scion themselves. I doubt anyone will know without having them. from the looks on the outside it might, but without knowing the specs and bolts we wouldnt know.

 

Considering I doubt anyone has one yet (not that I know of anyways), I would assume no one could really tell you for sure.

Then again I would also assume they should fit since there shouldn't be any major body or structural changes.

I don't care for them too much though... unless the projector beam pattern is REALLY good and they'll take a good HID setup, they're kind of ugly.

 

im sure with Scion knowing everone will want them it would be ideal to make them the same way and whatnot. Then again, i wouldnt know if they would try to make them different to avoid all tC owners to become an 08 look alike. IMO, i wouldnt get them after seeing a picture of the projector too far back into the shroud. That will cause some light output problems on the sides. A retro would be ideal depening on the size and specs inside the housing? I would say about $175-200/ea.

Ya, they're definitely projectors... it's just a matter of how good they are and what the beam/cutoff look like.

I'd consider getting them if the cutoff and such look nice with a set of HID bulbs...

Do retro on these since shrouds is not necessary. But then again, I know the dealership will charge your A$$$$$ for a pair.

The original pictures of the 08 featured projector lookalikes for sure. Looks like Scion listened to its customers and found that perhaps we'd like a little substance to go with the style. Thank goodness.

 

I'm guessing that these projectors are the same ones used on the xb2, I could be wrong, but makes sense considering both are 2008 models and both have projectors...

These will expensive I'm sure but they would be much better qaulity than most aftermarket projectors. Damn I want them now

 

i work at my dealership tonight, so if we have a 08 tC in stock, ill take some pics (camera phone... sorry) of it during the day from different angles, then take some night pics too.

im just hoping we have one...

 

I didn't think they were on the lot yet. I thought later this month or next month? Should they be here this early?
