Default what sub size? (2) 8" or (1) 10" or 12"

we i am planning on building a new box for the back of my 06 xb. Currently i have build one that replaces the back storage area and holds 2 JL 6.5" subs. I have an mtx 300 watt rms amp ar 2 ohms. I am wanting to put a slim line sub in, but can only fonr single 4 ohm ones. So, should i put in (2) 8" pioneer flat subs, or should i put in one 10 or 12, and buy a new amp (more money, means i wont get to do it very soon, and less other toys for the car). i really just want sound quality, but i want to have prety decent deep bass, but it does not have to rattle other cars or anything. I have only owned trucks efoer this, and8's always sounded good in them.

I'd go with the 8s. I've always been a fan of 8s. They are tight, can be deep and don't need a lot of airspace.
