"I can buy this sensor for half of what you're selling it to me for, why are your prices so high?" we put on connectors, we test, we calibrate, etc. Try to do it yourself and see if it works. We've had $20,000 worth of electronics in our shop for about 2 weeks now that the customer could be using to make thousands of dollars a day, but they wanted to save $400 on sensors and screwed them up.

we make lab equipment for testing soil and rock engineering properties (strength, compressibility, etc.). computer controlled servo-hydraulic and pneumatic systems. it's pretty much industrial motion control stuff

I can understand someone saying they prefer to buy the parts and do it themselves--but to say Randy and/or Randy's stuff is BS is way out of line. I paid my money--followed the directions--and am happy. To each his own--but a slanderous attack is way out of line. I guess that is more than .02c......

OldYeller speaks the truth and thats the only reason I posted...People are free to make their own choice on who they purchase products from but when someone slams one of our own I take it personal...

You get what you pay for. There's a reason it's $80, which really isn't that much, and it will save you a few hours and heart aches during install.

It's like my dad says, the world wants to not work, and recieve everything for free.
