most people would like to remove their warning buzzers , at least most of the owners of tc's , first gen xB's as well as many other vehicles , i removed the ones from my truck.

Without the exterior lights having auto-off - I would prefer the tone were louder myself. I keep forgetting. I'd like to see the answer to this as well.

Yea, mine is also quite faint! I'll have to buy a small dog that howls when the beeper goes on!

Possible solutions....If you can find where the "speaker" for the buzzer is, attach these wire to the input to a relay to power a louder buzzer....or attach a "buzzer" that is louder or has a different sound....that said, I don't know where you can find "buzzers"...except maybe a junk yard

Yall are going about this the wrong way. What we need is a hack/mod that shuts off the dang lights! There are several toyotas that do this when you cut the car off, why not the B?

I think this should be rather cheap and easy to do, with a relay and some help from an electronically knowledgeable person. Anybody know such a person???
I miss that feature in my tC.

Find the wire for the buzzer, wire it up to a relay, and hook that up to your horn. Should get your attention pretty well.

Man, what a bunch of old farts driving xbs. If you can not hear the buzzer or see the dash indicator the lights are on, maybe you should give driving up to someone with better senses?

Alright, enough of the funny stuff. I hear and see mines ok, however I would love for my lights to come on and off with the engine. I had thought aboutwiring a relay to the efi or acc fuse to the relay as a trigger, then the relay from the battery to the light circuit fuse to energize that circuit and turn the lights on.

Who knows if it will work, justs my general idea.

Come on now!.You aren't that much younger Cobb

But that sounds about right about the relay. I'll have to go find one and give it a try.

Have the problem of low volumn for all of the alarms ie; lights, key etc.

took vehical to dealer and was told no adjustment to volumn.

This is a 2008 XB and should not have this problem.

Does anyone have a fix.

I have the problem too. The buzzer is on the circuit board for the gauges. I am looking for a louder one and a easy way to install it. I did drill a hole in the plastic cover over the buzzer and it is a bit louder but still too high pitched for my defective ears.
