So after talking with my dad it looks like a used car isnt in my future. So he told me I needed to look for a car under 20k and so I started looking and just couldnt find anything. He kept pressuring me to get a Scion and I just couldnt do it. I dont want another car that would make me want to mod and the Scion just isnt me. THeyre fun but I realistically cant see myself driving one everyday for the next 5 years atleast.

So I came across the 08 Altima Coupe. I will have to settle for cloth seats and 170 hp instead of the one that comes with 270 but oh well I think i can live.

I should have it sometime this fall. Im still holding out for Black or Charcoal and stick shift :-)

Just to let you know the older Nissans do have some issues, the Altima in particular my sister owns an 04 with about 35k miles and it has a random problem where it won’t start when it is cold out looked online and there are a bunch of people complaining about the same issue. Lucky for her she is in Cali where it is warm out.

Also Nissan had stopped selling the Altima and Sentra with the 2.5L motor a few months back to correct some manufacturing issues which caused engine problems. They are now available for sale.

I hope they have corrected all of the issues in the newer models! Good luck sweet ride.

The Nissans rev high and that makes them fun to drive and they are quick too. And it has 175hp

haha funny thing, as soon as I saw this thread I scrolled straight to the pictures didn't get a good look at them before my kitten stepped on my power strip and my computer blinked off but while it was restarting I speed dialed Natalie and the first words I said "You B*tch! You freaking B*tch you're getting a G35?!" Ah the days when her and I dreamed of one... now she gets something that looks just as purdy.

 

Just as purdy but without any major hp. We will see if i can get the celica to keep running for another few months and see what I can do about saving up so I can get the 3.5 SE -- i doubt id get approved for like 27 - 30k though.

The car starts out at 20 but when I built one on their site and took away the things id love to have it came to about 23,xxx.

Yeah once a modder always a modder is true. Im already looking at what wheels to throw on it. I just want wheels, tint and maybe exhaust.

just get a 2007 tC before its too late and ur stuck with an 08 . Only thing I dislike about the altima coupe is the taillights they look ok in photo's but in person it looks like its too big (as in stretches over the top). Atleast its not clear like the sedan versions.

 

just save up a little more a buy the new G37
