Hey do you guys know what type of font "scion" is? What I'm planning to do is I want a windshield banner that says SCION. Maybe some other decals too. Let me guys know. OR...if you know where I can purchase Scion decals. I've seen a lot of scions with decals like the ones I'm talkin about. Let me know. Thanks.

Although this is not the true Scion Font (Due to the fact that they took an existing font and tweak it) this is one of the many that is close to it...

I'll tell you the best way to find out what a font is. First, you need a jpeg of the type of font you are looking for. So, make a lo res jpeg of the Scion letter themselves or any key fonts, nothing else, in an application like Photoshop. Then go to this website, www.myfonts.com. Find the "What The Font" button (pic of wormor snake shaped like 'W") and click. Then, upload your jpeg to the site by clicking Browsw button. It's pretty quick. A new screen will come up isolating each letter, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit Search. It will then come up with fonts that match or are pretty damn close. Now you just have to find somebody who has the font so you don't have to buy it!

Hey thanks. I'm actually looking for this font for a front windshield banner. I've seen one on one of the show xB's in the Scion brochures. If anyone knows where I can get this let me know.

I just checked the web site and the closest font style to it is called Mata (the bold version), but after seeing it, the Scion logo has been tweaked from this font. Your best bet, use the logo as a template and redraw it. I do graphic design foor a living, if you have some patience, I can redraw it for you and get it to you shortly.

my SPACE BOX looks good - only thing I was amazed at was how much window gets wiped by the wipers on the xB! I don't know how long the vinyl is going to last when it gets stroked by the wipers.

I doubt Scion is a tweeked version of any font. Most likely Toyota paid big bucks to a design firm to design a font specifically for Scion. You can likely find something close out there, though.
