Default a question for ssp owners about dampening/height adjustment

so how do i lower and drop these things? i understand that the perches need to be lowered and raised using the spanner wrentchs but how do u measure the amount of drop that u will get? and how do i adjust the dampening force? what is a good number for everyday driving? thanks

I go by fender gap measured by fingers and I do equal rotations in front L&R and rear L&R.

The instructions say to turn the damper clockwise until it stops to set it to full hard. I backed mine off in front 5 turns counter clock wise and in the rear 6 turns.

I usually just measure the height by the number of rings left. I have about 6 rings left to lower and its about 1 finger space between the tire and fender.
As for the dampening force, I usually keep them on the softest setting for "regular" driving.

^ do you get a lot of bounce with it at the softest setting? When you get to 16 (softest) can you keep turning the **** counter clock wise past softest? When I got mine I had to turn it like 23 times to get it to the hardest setting.

It actually still feels pretty good at the softest setting. I wouldn't say I get alot of bounce, its perfect for everyday driving.
