Aftermarket seat install help please
I bought a pair of the carbn fiber seats that were on the group buy and now need help
I go my original 06 xb seats removed and noticed that the seat belt is wired to the seat. the plug has 2 sets of wires.
1. to the seat belt on the right side if the seat and
2.another wire going to a sensor on the left side. on the rail that the seat slides on.
I want to know how much trouble it is removing that sensor...and is it removable or actually hard waired to the seat.
Any help would be appreciated.

and if I keep the wires on the passenger side unplugged, the seatbelt light will stay on too, right?
But how about the wires on the DRIVERS side...no one really rides with me..so Im more concerned about the Drivers side and that freaking sensor thing with the wire.

The driver's side is only to the seatbelt clip? If you don't care, you should be able to cut it. I did that in a pickup I had because I was putting on a seat cover. The seatbelt clipped in place setting was an open connection, so I just wrapped some electrical tape around the wire ends and tucked them under the carpet.
For the passenger seat, it's a sensor in the seat that senses the weight? Not sure about that one.
