Default Finally Powder Coated Valve Cover installed (pics)

Well I finally got around to swapping my original Valve Cover with the new and improved Mirrored Black powder coated one.
The guy that did it is from Florida http://www.racecoated.com/ I'm only plugging him because he did great work at a great price!!!
Plus he has some really nice color options too. Anyway the swap wasn't too bad. Here's the diagram with torque specs in case you are looking to do this as well:

Take your time and go slow....I think all the bolts and nuts are 10mm. Another tip: Once VC comes off remove the rubber gasket and place in the grooves of the new VC.
Here's a pics of the old one below...(Which is for Sale PM me an offer!)

Here you can see the grooves around the outside...this is where the gasket slides into...this makes it easier to install the new one without having to line it up properly!

Here's the comparison shots:

Done:

Hope you enjoyed the pics and the explanation. But it was pretty straight forward DIY. Also not sure if you noticed but my DC tower strut bar is not back on.
Oh yeah its gonna get powder coated a mirrored black too!!! Questions, comments!

Haha... I just did that recently. I had his first ever panel and figured I might as well upgrade for the new version. Even the first one I had held up well and was in pretty good shape when I sent it back. I even had to cut my own hood prop hole in it.

BTW, that looks really nice. I've been meaning to get mine done soon too but I've been spending WAY too much money lately.
