I am planning on wiring my rear view camera to the reverse lights. One problem, what color is the wire for the power? I found a harness thing plugged into the back of the tail lights but I can't figure out which one turns on the reverse light.

I searched and found one thread about this same issue but I am not sure if it worked as no one else replied.

Is the red wire with a black stripe the reverse light power?

You should always check the wire with a volt meter. Find the wire you think is the one you want and put the car in reverse (not running and power brake on) and meter the wire. If it is the one you will see 12 volts come on then off as you move the car in and out of reverse. Sorry if you knew this already, maybe we can help some newbies out there.
