Default I dont know which AVIC to get

Hi everyone,

In the near future i plan to upgrade my headunit, but I am stuck between Pioneer's AVIC-D3 and the AVIC-Z2. I know what each offers, and I kinda have an idea of which one I want. But I was curious about what you guys think of them and which is better?

d3 is better only cause its integrated into the hole and it doesnt block the air vents.

^? what?

i personally think that if you already have an ipod and use it efficiently (like use it more often than not versus using CDs) the d3 will be perfect. i had the same question when the z1 came. Im happy i waited. sure there isnt a hard drive built in for the nav, but unless you use the nav on a daily basis, not having the cd in there wont kill ya. i use my ipod for my main source for music so my nav disk is in there about 9/10 times. the z2 is great and all, but heres the kicker... EXPENSIVE AND NO HACK YET FOR WATCHING VIDEOS OR CHANGING NAV CONDITIONS WHILE DRIVING. i think its obvious which is better. lol but then again im biased. lol

i dont see why it wouldnt fit. its a standard dual din and ive seen the z1 in a tC. and the z1 and z2 are essentially the same with differences in firmware.. so they should fit.
