I know I've seen this done around here before but after extensive searching I can't find anything about it. I am trying to set my stock center wheel caps with the scion logo into the interior door pulls. They fit just inside the chrome ring but since that piece of plastic is rounded and the wheel cap is flat on the back (after breaking off the tabs) it doesn't fit quite right. I have them attached with some 3M molding tape right now, but as soon as you get close or look down on them from the side, you can see a gap. Has anyone done this and knows how to fix the wheel caps on there so that it will look OEM?

Cmon, even if you haven't done it with your car I know some of you guys can make anything happen with the interior. Any suggestions, any at all? You can even pop your wheel caps and door pull cover off too take a closer look. Real easy all you need is a butter knife

Then do what?
I already have the wheel caps mounted on there with 3M molding tape. It just doesn't look very nice. I would like an OEM look which I know some of you guys have the knowledge required to achieve this. I don't. So I'm asking.

OK so i finished with this today, and I will post a finished pic later. I went out and bought a dremel and dremeled the wheel caps down so they fit a little bit better over the rounded part of the door pull. I still wasnt satisfyed so what I did was take out the chrome ring, fill the area where it was sitting with a little 3M molding tape so that when you put the chrome ring back on it sits further out, and wraps right around the wheel cap giving an oem look. The chrome ring tends to fall out once you have tape behind it, so I superglued it in place, and as of right now I have 3M molding tape behind the wheel cap but it doesnt work very well so I'm going to remount it with some sort of plastic to plastic glue that wont leave any residue behind if i decide to take them off.
