How much of a drop did you get with the TRDs? They don't list it in the brochures at the dealership or the website.

No noise at all. My buddy and I did the work I. I did have to do the front driver's side twice though.... When we moved on to the second one I noticed a clothlike washer that I didn't see on the first one. Apparently when things flew off while taking off the old srping from the first one I wasn't paying enough attention. No I didn't use a spring compressor... Sorry for the long response... See more pictures here.http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=179051

about an inch at first but after a week or so it's down to about 1.5 inches. For me its good enough any lower and I might have some rubbing issues with the 19x8.5s

I found more pics during the install but they are just random pictures.

Thanks for the extra info and pics! That sounds about what I dropped with my 1st gen and the Tein H-Techs which should be good with 19's like you are running.

1.5" all around? I keep hearing only 1" with TRD springs. Perhaps those folks didn't let theirs settle before reporting?

I wouldn't be surprised if it settled closer to 1.5" but I really can't confirm. I have never used the TRD springs on the 1st or 2nd gen xB.

The only reason that i didnt put 265's on the rears is because i saw that it would rub so i just went with the 245's to be on the safe side...

Any thoughts, or experience on using the TRD springs with a 20" x 8.5 rim ? What tire size would be recommended.

I don't want any rub, even when turning while on a bump.
