hey, i dont have the "ipod" upgrade for my scion xB, but when i installed my randode (woot) internal cold cathode kit i saw a white box next to my "aux" cable. i believe this is the ipod cord... am i correct? could someone with the ipod hookup in an 06 xB take a pic of the bottom of the "ipod" connector box for me? or someone who works at a dealer and can get a pic of the bottom will work. if this is the case, then every xB comes equipped with the ability to play ipod, but i just need the box....... PLEASE! I NEED TO KNOW! if i can just go to a dealer and just buy one.... W00T! i may just actually call and ask.... but please someone respond!

The ipod cord plugs into that... you need the upgraded headunit along with the ipod interface cable... yes, it's prewired, but it's not just the cable...

 

all 06 xBs come with the "upgraded stereo" i believe.... the **** volume adjuster right?

 

You need the one with 2 wheels

I have an 06 and had to buy the ipod radio/cable hookup.. Course I have an early 06 without the streering radio controls.. But i like non the less
