Debagde it. I did my PW box and it looks really clean.

i debadged, including hubcaps and front emblem. then rebadged front w/ bB thing and rear as "toyota" on left and "VVT-i" on the right.

now I gotta figure something out for the steering wheel. I hate the scion logo.

Ive always been a muscle car fan so I say Nay. I like the "xb" badge. Keep em on, who knows what this car will be worth in 10 years (STOP LAUGHING).

Badges are classy, No badges are hooptie. My personal opinion. don't hate me.

Another way to look at this: How much is Scion paying you to advertise for them?

Maybe the question should be should you debadge or RE-badge. Think of using the Toyota insignia versus the Scion. Personally I like things just the way they are and plan to keep it that way.

i prefer not to have badges...I had them removed at the time I bought the car. I also like the look on their face when they try to look on the back to see what make and model it is and theres nothing there.

You all are way too nice. You should be a d*ck like me and change the badges to mess with people.

I put a nice big FreightLiner on the back and Freightliner Custom Chassis emblems where the xB was and below the side markers.

I've had car dealers almost break there necks walking but it!!!! Nobody knows what the hell is going on!!!!!! I laugh all the way to home everyday!!!

I'd put the shot here, but my server doesn't crosslink. You gotta check below

That is funny! does anyone actully ask you if its really made by freightliner?

Oh yeah! I've even gone as far as to tell a mechanic I met that it was the new FreightLiner Sprinter GTI :o

I thought about putting a Sprinter badge with a VW GTI badge next to it but decided it was going too far!!

The only thing I hear more is "IS DAT ONE OF DOZE ELECTRIK KARZ???"

I'm about to put a 220v Receptacle in my rear bumper, but cannot find an orange rubberized one.

(snip) I'm about to put a 220v Receptacle in my rear bumper, but cannot find an orange rubberized one.

That would be so funny to do. Or, how about a bit of cord dangling out the rear, you know, like it needs to be plugged in...

Anyway, I took a look at your photos. Nice. http://forums.newbeetle.org/images/smilies/biggthumpup.gif

BOT: I noticed that with my nB, no one asks me if it's a Beetle. It's obvious. So I thought about removing the xB badge from the Scion. But decided that I would leave it for now. Maybe later I will remove it...

I do know that the SCION badge is a great place to grab and close the door without getting any finger prints on the door.

I debadged mine & replaced the rear Scion emblem with an oval Lexus emblem from the 430 trunk. It's the same size as the Scion emblem & really turns some heads. I live in old fart land (New Port Richey, FL). I've had several ask which model it is, so... I tell them it's the Lexus XXX.

Really what I'd like is to be a fly on the wall when some recalcetrant old bastard tries to argue with the Lexus salesman that he saw a Lexus. boxed shaped, goddamit my wife saw it too.......... Could be hilarious.

Well, today I took the xB off mine, but put a dragon on in it's place...just to keep balance with my fish on the other side. I don't mind the SCION badge...it's sort of like the VW symbol to me...all you need to ID the brand.
But I was not a fan of the xB badge. Too many 'x' branded cars out there, ya ax me.

About five minutes after I put the dragon on, I got my first, "What is that car?" question. I said it's the new SCION DRAGON FIRE.

The person left, saying that was cool.

Do you just pry the rear badges off? I'm really feeling the clean look in the rear and may do this to my tcm.

plastic puddy knife from home depot or sears works wonders

Dental floss also works real good too. Just use it liek you would use a saw and saw behind the emblem.

I've heard the dental floss trick before. Doing this tommorrow. With the car being so new I imagine the badges will come off with ease 8)
