Are those puddle lamps set to come on with the dome lights?

 

Correct- they fade in and out with dome lights. So you click to unlock your car- dome and puddle lamps on. Door open, they come on.

They do not come on however if you turn the dome light switch to 'on'- they aren't routed on that switch.

Ummm yea... the passenger side isn't quite straight yet (one is obviously out of alignment). The drivers side looks right to me, but I need to figure out the focus of the lights before i can mess with their alignment... plus the only way to see them is at night, and at night i can't really work under the car! (have no garage)... so that's a project for another day.

Until then i'll just be 'quirky' ;)
