I knew the o8 xB's were out. Ive seen them since as early as a month ago on the street. I knew a few dealerships had a couple 08 tC's on their lots but I didnt know if they had those up for sale yet.

IIRC, the manual states not to drive with it open past 55 mph.

I drive on the hwy with it open, just not all the way. I move it back to the first fully open stopping point it hits when you first open it (a few inches from all the way open). It doesn't move around in the wind nearly as much.

yea i heard manual says its not recommended after 55 mph. (i didn't bother to read it though lol)

i forgot to close it on highway and ran like 75 mph, it didn't break
but keep it close when u drive faster than 55 mph.. the sunroof seems very weak. i wouldn't risk it.

^same---I leave it open on the highway all the time at around a average speed of 75 to 80. No issues yet (knocking on wood) on my 06 with 14,000.

There are two open positions for this reason. It's not recommended to drive on the highway with it completely open to the last spot... but there's a spot about 3/4 of the way that it will stop at first... and you shouldn't have any problems driving fast with it in this spot.

^^that is correct.

You are only supposed to drive up to 40mph with it 100% open. As it is opening however, it stops at 80%. To drive at speeds above 40mph, this is what you have to leave it at. To then press the button again opens it the rest of the way and should not be used at highway speeds.
