Anyone have this problem where once in a while the passenger window DOES NOT work from the drivers side....and addition to this, neither window will do the auto up/down function also.

the window button will flash green 2-3 times when trying to get it to work from the drivers side. then a few days later it works again. :flame:

what gives? :x

You need to reset them. Roll you windows down half way, then roll them up and hold the button up for about 3 or 4 seconds. That should do it. It happens when the battery's been disconnected. Check your owner's manual; it gives better instructions.

There's a lock out button over there someplace. It happened to me once.

BTW, this is the wrong section for the question. It probably should be in Ice/Interior. :D

whoops! wrong place for posting. also I misplaced my manual. Tried looking for it this morning and thought before I called to schedule maintenance I'd hit you smart guys up first.

Thanks!

It's the same for all of them, roll windows down all the way and hold the button for a few seconds, roll up and hold for a few seconds, do the same for the roof open and hold, close and hold.

So thats why after I installed a ground wire kit my windows starting being stupid....

I though it was because I did something wrong when I did all the ground connections following the Tech Article (http://scionlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10785)

....wew :relief:

(...and yes I used the search function, that's why I have brought back the dead post that's in the wrong section....)
