Why exhaust hangs so high??
I got the TRD exhaust and have the RS1 lip kit. Why doesn't my exhaust "drop" a little? The other tC's I've seen with the TRD have a much lower sitting exhaust....
Are there solutions? Heat shield? (where to buy from/what brand?)? Is there a way to drop the exhaust a little?
Why am I complaining?
It's damaging my rear lip.

bend the hangers. . . and be very careful. Use two pairs of pliers or a vice. . . the last thing you want to do is break the hanger OFF the exhaust.
i have the same set up.. TRD exaust with the lip kit... yours is way too close... mine fits perfectly so you should probably try to bend itdown a little or take it to a muffler shop and have them look at it.. just my .02

And that's why they call it MODIFYING a car... Because you have to modify stuff. Either bend the hangers (or get new ones welded on) or cut the lip kit. It's not rocket science, people!
It doesn't matter what lip it is or what it is designed for... One way or the other, you're going to have to do one of those two options, or else that exhaust is going to "modify" the car for you!

Looks like the opening in the lip isn't big enough - and the TRD tip sticks out a little more then OEM.
But I would definitely inspect your hangers... just make sure everything is hooked up right... from the looks of it, there would be a possibility that the front hanger right near the flange is not connected. It probably is, but if it's not, it could cause the end to be up a little higher than normal, since that part would hang down.
