Default Ingall's Rear Strut Brace..Who has it??

I thought this is a Cool Mod...

I currently have Progress Rear Sway Bar, Front Strut Bar, Lowering Springs, wider performance tires.

So If I was to get this..Will I even feel any difference in Handling??...
or would it be a waste of Money??

Thanks...Opinions or if you have it...tell me!!

I've got one. I already had TRD springs, struts, rear sway and performance summer tires when I installed mine. There is a noticable diffrence. The rear is firmed up a bit and side to side transitions feel tighter.

I dunno about the price as mine was a gift, but $143 sounds like a good deal.

I have it also. I have TRD Springs/Sway bar, DC Sports front Strut bar, and i noticed a difference. My hatch doesn't squeak at all anymore and the rear of the car feels a lot stronger going over bumps. Just last weekend I finished cutting up the little cubbies in the trunk so everything fits nice and flat now. I'd definitely recommend it if your looking to get the most handling out of your tC.

^What'd you trim your cubbies with? I started mine with a dremel but after being sprayed with hot liquid styrofoam (or whatever it is) I decied a razor would be better suited.

i'm going to have to stay skeptical on this. it may make a noticeable difference, but our cars aren't very prone to body flex at normal speeds under normal conditions... if most people see no improvement from a good front strut bar, i don't think you would from a rear. but hey, i don't have it and i could be wrong so keep researching. no offense to any of you who have the bar and love it, i'm sure it's aesthetically pleasing if worst comes to worst.

I trimmed it with a boxcutter. Just took about an hour to cut the right spots. Ill get some pics of it tomorrow.

The rear bar didnt just make a difference in the corners but going over bumps/potholes the rear end felt stronger. Kinda hard to explain.

Witha sharp razor it is. The main thing is cutting in the correct location. After installingthe brace I put some blue painter's tape on the bar sticky side up and then laid the foam on top of the bar. The tape stuck to the bottom of the brace giving me a guide.

The front strut tower brace is not to noticeable because how close they are to the firewall. That's pretty stiff already.
The rear are right along that long flat floor, so you feel it more. Plus, with less weight back there, it tends to flex more. A friend of mine has it and he loves it.
I have the hotchkis front and rear sways so mines pretty stiff, but I may end up getting this as well. The straiter the better!
