Just getting my 2005 from the dealer today, and before I start working on intakes and wheels and tints, I need the essentials first.
What surf racks work best on the box? I could just go to a local shop and get Yakima rails, but I'd like to know if anyone else here has some experience. I haul a 10'2" longboard 40 miles of highway every weekend, and would also like to have a rack that can adjust for snowboards and bikes. Is Yakima my best bet?
Thanks!

That topic talks about roof racks. Might have a surf board capable mount, or you might find a way to mount your board to it.

Here is my Yakima Q-Towers & I use it just for my surfboard. It works great & no holes!!! Also use with StrapThang and padding. Its all you need, homie. I gotta 8' board and there is still tons more room on the roof!! Where you surf at? I usually go to Folly Beach, SC. The Washout!

Super sweet! Thanks for the answers... I was thinking Yaks would make the most sense.
I'm West Coast... Santa Cruz, but I started long ago at Va Beach, 17th Street. How's the hurricane season treating the swells back east?

Its been very good. Although, kinda scary at times. I remember during Frances, I tried going out and I couldnt even stand up or keep my board straight. Current was crazy!
