I just got a HKS Hi-Power exhaust and I've been thinking about painting it flat black for subtle look. What do you guys think? I also got the silencer and welded the nut/bolt because people typically get their silencers stolen around Socal.

if you wanted subtle you shouldnt have gone with the hks

but seriously just keep it how it is.

 

keep it silver...goes better with the wheels.
i dunno..black just doesnt look as clean under the rear

thats true too. a custom muffler setup with a small tip woudl be pretty good..

gloss black would look hot. or black chrome. (is that what you call it?)

 

with a SW tC...flat black would not look that good. Either keep it the same, or get that titanium look

I have same exhaust, and i would never imagine painting it...it looks very good as it is, why ruin it? it's gonna look like it was never cleaned or smthg.

 

i say do it. just to be different.

 

i'd definitely get it blacked out... but i hate how the HKS looks, so i'd do anything to hide it.

How come you got rid of the SP2. I'm chopping the tip off mine and replacing it with something a lil smaller. I also thought about painting it flat black as well.

 

If it makes the tip appear a little smaller... I say go for it.
