All the production headers I have seen use WAY too short of primary tubes and collector designs from the '70s. They are what I would call a "convience" header, designed to be installed easily and fabricated cheaply to maximize profit for the company. These little engines need all the help they can get to generate REAL power. A modern true performace header could not be fabricated for the $350 that commercial headers sell for- the parts alone would cost that much! And that's not even in stainless.... Soooooo..... How does a header that can generate more power than any other on the market for about $550 (uncoated). Not smog leagal, but real HP rarely is! ken 12-23-2003, 05:36 AM how much is an original hedder? glamdrig2000 12-23-2003, 02:40 PM I have the ceramic El prototypes header and I like it because its power is really niticeable in the 3k and up rpms.
