I added the first poll for Saturday or Sunday after we find the best day I will set a poll for best actual date, it will give us a better idea of dates and not have 12 different choices between the weeknds...VOTE UP!!!

I was thinking if Michigan, Indiana, Illinois,Wisconsin,Ohio had a huge meet somewhere in the center of all 3 points..we would have the masses of G/L and probably have a grip of scions 30+ maybe even more..I know we all have seperate meets/shows but I think it would work, if enough people in surrounding areas agreed or even acknowledged..

Sunday would be best for me, share your thoughts on this, again just a idea and something we have yet to really speak about (a huge g/l meet)

I know ~zero~ about Indiana cities... but looking at the map, South Bend appears to be a central location, although Indianapolis does too and they are a ways apart...

Your correct, most people do have it off. But most people don't wanna drive 8 hours there, and 8 hours back, and stay for maybe an hour tops. If you wanna include more people, you have to consider it being on a Saturday for a bigger state/state meet.

There is always October 10th. But that's Scion exposed in Philly. Most people have that next day (Monday) off for Columbus day.

this evening (once work slows down) I will make a poll with all possible dates and let the masses decide which day is best. If i can get 2 weeks in advance I can get a Saturday off so either way works for me..

keep checking back for a poll, I need to get all possible dates that DO NOT interfere with any other meets/shows...

Did someone say SOUTH BEND???? Am i hearing this right???? If you guys are serious about having a meet here and have any questions about the area ask away i have been a South Bender for 25 years. The Warren Dunes are nice but paying to get in kinda stinks. Although a photo from on top the dunes down at all the scions would be nice. I'm not sure if Oct 23rd is a Notre Dame home game or not. If it is South Bend is packed and all hotels, motels, and cardboard boxes under bridges are taken. I would definately be interested in anything planned around here.

Yes Oct 23rd Notre Dame plays Boston College here thats a huge game. So the City would be packed. Warren Dunes i thought was exspensive but i think no more than 10 bucks would get you in for an out of state car MI cars would be cheaper. Fort Wayne seems to be the most central location. It's only about 2-2.5 hours for everyone in Detroit, Chicago and Columbus and Indianapolis which are the major cities in the states down here. It's only a bit farther for the Milwaukee people.

South Bend would be nice and I'd be willing to drive the extra miles, but i'm not going to intentionally drive into that area on the day of a Notre Dame game, that's just insane.
In short... I'm all about Saturday's as long as it is not the 24th like Blue_Estel said because us Motor City folk have plans already.

Looks like South Bend may be best after all. Fort Wayne may be best after all. Depends on where in each state everyone lives. If there's a lot of people outside of the Chicago area in Illinois, then it probably would need to shift west to the South Bend area.

we are looking for something more private, somewhere we can bbq and get some chairs and chat away, some sort of state park would be great, I.E Dunes which it were would be great for this..

Exactly. I too vote for Saturday October 23rd, and I totally agree with the idea that it should be someplace where we can all just hang out and talk about our cars and still be able to show them off but not like some crazy parking lot show or anything.
