Default Clear Bra / Rockblocker in South Central PA or Northern MD??

I live in Hanover, PA (close to Gettysburg, York area). I can't find ANYONE around here who installs clear film paint protection. You know, the stuff by 3M or a similar product. I have tried window tinting places, after market shops and paint & body shops. Does anyone know of a place I could try? I live close enough to try York, Harrisburg and Gettysburg in PA, or Westminster and Frederick in MD. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've been curious about this too! I'd like to know how it looks up close, if it's too late for my car (one winter here was brutal!), price, where to get it done, etc.

It's very hard to see on the car if it's done correctly. I was at the PA auto show in Harrisburg this past spring and I noticed it on a few of the exotics (Maybach, Ferrari, McLaren..etc). The only place that you even see is the very fine line where the film ends, and you really have to look closely to notice it.
I emailed Rockblocker and they said the closest place for us would be Kenilworth, NJ which is three and a half hours from here. I'm still looking. If I find a place, I'll post it here to let you know.

Fitzgerald Scion in Chambersberg? Ummm...THAT'S WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR!!! I asked about the clear film protection when the finance guy was telling me about the additional products, and he didn't think you guys did that. I'll be calling you this morning.

thanks! They might need to see mine anyway. Like I said, it has some serious surface flaws from all of the cinder this winter. Some chips down to the metal and the lower bumper feels like a cheese grater.

I had a clear bra placed on my car... it has probably paid for itself already with the possible paint chips as well as the giant retread that creamed my bumper.

A guy in Camp Hill did mine about 2 years ago for $600. I had my entire front done, behind the wheels and the side view mirrors. He didn't charge me for the side view mirrors because he was experimenting. I've had to do some minor trimming on mine here and there. Nothing major in the grand scheme of things.

If anyone would like his info, PM me...

What kind of trimming? Did it start to peel off or something?

Thanks. BTW, the girl who answered the phone at Fitzgerald today had no idea who "Chewy" is. It took a minute, but we figured out who you are.
Anyhow, I talked to Ted Miller (very nice guy) who put me in touch with the place you use in Haggerstown. It would be $500 for the whole kit if I went directly to him. I assume it would be a little higher if I did it through your dealership. I'm still trying to find someone a little closer for me.

Peel? Yes and no... the kit is smaller then your car. When it's applied it is actually stretched on so there are no bubble, veins, unevenness... that said it's pretty hard to put on correctly.

The only place I have experienced 'peeling' was in the deep part of my bumper... to the left of the lower grill on my tC... it's deep in and if I were to even get a knick in there, I'd never know anyways.

I've also had to trim along the bottom part of my bumper where I've scraped either on low lying areas or out driveways....

Other then that and the side view mirrors he made from scratch I have had no problems. Since I have had my car done, they have made side view mirror pieces for the kit.

My car is a mess right now or I'd post pictures of it.... when it's washed and waxed you do not see it..... I think I may be able to find some pictures on my PC here later.

Oh yeah...... and matt_a I have his number in my work phone... which I left at work (d'oh!).... I'll get it for ya tomorrow and PM ya.

The guys name is Doug Signfeld @ Signfeld Signs.

1.888.932.4383 or 717.737.3600

He used to have a website but it's no longer there... never was much content on it.

I haven't spoken to him in over a year but tell him you referred by Ryan Jones who got an IIP 2005 tC done by him... his first tC I believe.

Guy is super nice. I know his sister and a friend of his both have RS1 tC's...
