How do you take off the silver accents on the steering wheel

 

take off the air bag / horn assembly... turn it over.. you'll see where the 2 silver accent peices are melted into their mount holes. cut the melted part off the backs, and they will pop out. when you re-install, use some epoxy to stick them back on.
