Default Need replacement top rear bumper

ok so I had someone back up into my rear bumper put a warp line about 5 inches long like a pencil in my rear bumper along with 2 chips in the center. I dont think they repair our back bumpers how much would it cost on average ? is polar white, the dealer says just leave it alone i say no i like to keep the box flawless. Any place aside dealer where i can get the top rear bumper to replace it ?

I am in the same position. I need a new BSP rear bumper for my '06. Some a-hole backed into me and then left. Scratched it all up.

I just had my rear bumper repaired twice in two months. As long as the damage isn't too bad a body shop can refinish the bumper using plastic fill. If done correctly it looks almost as good as new.

My first repair cost about $400. My bumper was nicked on the corner and I had several scrapes and light gouges about 2 inches long. My body shop refinished the bumper and it looked good.

The second repair was for two dents about an inchel in the top middle of the bumper. I was going to get the bumper refinished a second time but I crunched the numbers and saw it ended up being cheaper for me to just get a new bumper and get it sprayed and installed. That cost $375.

Luckily, both bills got picked up by other people's insurance.

Where did you get the new bumper? From the dealer?

Yeah, I picked up my new bumper at my local dealer. I found it a little cheaper online at Conicelli parts but I didn't feel like waiting for delivery.[/quote]

Try car-part.com you can usually find a nice one in the color you need ready to bolt on. Try yards near you first then branch out but you'll have to pay shipping.
