It's the best color available for the tC. I was really impressed when I saw it.

AP has more yellow, Waveline has more blue. I saw a Waveline parked next to an AP at one of the dealers earlier this week, but I didn't have a camera with me. The difference between the two is really obvious. I might go back and take a pic.

I love the new waveline pearl, it's not as light as AP and looks awesome when you can see the darker blue sparkles under certain lighting conditions.

I got it painted professionally. I decided to color match. I had something else on there before but decided to do this instead. I'm happy with it.

Damn not many people have waveline pearls huh? Well here's my 08 a few months old. only have an injen intake 2k antenna, and a trd exhaust. waiting for my eibach sportline springs to come in, lowers it 2 ins. i'll put pics up of it when i install it. cant wait! oh and an HKS hi power exhaust so many things to do! what do you guys think?

I've been looking around but nothing set in stone. I was thinking maybe black 18" rims with a silver lip? I dont want to do all chrome i know that. What do you think? It's kind of hard to find rims for this color. Have you found a set??

Actually I think almost any color rims will look good on the WP except for bronze or gold. Gun Metal will looks great, chrome, black, hyperblack, black chrome, etc...

gunmetal might do it for me. i just need to get some rims bad! good thing christmas is coming around.

hey, did you paint match your calipers with your car paint?

Tried to, used engine enamel paint that looked pretty close to the original color, gonna have to do it again because I did a half assed job the first time, but it looks pretty nice imo.

any fellow WP's want to trade hatches? i have the pedestal spoiler and about a 15% tint. dont really know what it exactly because it was on the car when i bought it. i could take it off too. no scratches and its badge less. If you're near vegas or coming to let me know. thanks!

honestly not a big fan of it anymore. it was also on the car when i purchased it. i want the lip cuz imo it looks a lot cleaner. the shocks on the hatch aren't blown or anything. the car only has 15k miles, so its still kind of brand newish

they have 2 versions of the lip spoiler in CF a long version and the regular one there both OEM but the longer one covers more on the thrunk maybe that one is long enough to cover the wholes. or sh*t u can get the viniati spoiler and call it a day lol

Nice changes. I think an OEM style hood would have fit your car better.

Nice to see how the CF looks on WP! I want to go OEM and do the RS-1 Lip kit. My only suggestion is to ditch the eyelids, They don't seeom to work with the hood in my opinion. But that is just my thought on it. Looks killer though !

ground assault, I like your car a lot. Those rims are great. Keep the grille chrome IMO. In general, I hate chrome on tC's, but you pull it off very nicely. I know you said you were gonna go with a full body kit, but have you considered a CF lip kit? that might look really good.

300 for a full CF lip kit would be an absolute steal. Honestly you'd have to pay more than that. I would still recommend a CF lip over a full body because to have a full body kit installed properly expect to drop like 4-5k...

that's what i want to do and then get the raven bodykit side skirts and rear...but i'm trying to find out if there might be an alignment issue when your looking at it from the side..maybe it won't all line up correctly...do you know if the lip kit will drop the front significantly? because i'm pretty sure aftermarket side skirts and maybe the rear might drop it too much for just a front lip

No probably not. I want to get a black mesh fig grille when i get the money and also change my wheels to black with a chrome lip. But the paint job has kinda put me in the poor house right now haha

now it looks much better with the kit, before the hood seemed off but now its perfect and i like the black on the rear bumper reminds me of Ptuning/carbonxe's bumper nice job!

total for body kit paint labor and two tone on the rear bumper is $1200 c",) by the way my eyelids are from niabodykits.com i had the vinyl ones before but they didn't match well so i got the fiberglass ones...they are the best! not too expensive but very noticeable mod

^not bad, just need to get some cf sideskirts and maybe a oem cf lip spoiler since it looks like you got a CF theme going on.

im drop on megan racing springs and it a real good drop. the front end is just a tap bit higher then the rear but can be from the subs in the trunk...

i tryin to look for carbon fiber side skirts and a pedistial (however u spell it) spoiler that carbon fiber or for cheap to wrap it......

What are you talking about non matching multi colors, everything that is painted purple is the same exact color. the only reason why it looks different is because of the editting done to the last 2 pics, IF YOU WANT i'll go take another pic and post it up so you can see that it's all the same exact color. btw the TRD strut bar is the only thing red and will stay red.

BTW did they atleast paint under the hood and hatch black and not do some cheap job. i can go ahead and keep adding but i honestly don't care what you do but hate when people talk trash when they have cheap stuff on their cars.

in about two weeks i'm taking my friends s-techs, tmw stage 3 shifter, and hotchkis front and rear sways. little by little lol but i LOVE this color. it grew on me big time =)

honestly, and this is just in my opinion, if your gonna do shows go with coilovers, if it's for yourself do whatever. i did tein H-tech springs cause they were offered to me and i couldn't pass it up plus they're just right with my lipkit, but if i could i would do coilovers but it's your call. either way you drop it it's still better then riding 4x4 lol

coil overs ride nice but slamming it will give it a rough ride but atleast you can adjust the height whenever you get bored of the drop instead of having to go through springs which will always stay at the same drop unless you add TRD shocks then it would slightly go lower.

Looking great, I forgot what it's like to see a WP front bumper without a bunch of chips in it. Does anyone else have the issue of paint chipping off easily? I actually had a bug splatter on the bumper which maybe was on a week at max, it started to lift and wrinkle the paint off the front bumper.... So needless to say the front clip needs a respray.

just my opinion but.. i think it would look better if it was maybe a little lower with those rims, lose the spoiler and please put back on the stock tails, those ones are hideous. not feeling the exhaust eaither, that one only looks good on certain ones idk why but to me it does.

What's everyone got planned for their WPs?

Well I had plans on getting the wheels powder coated, new exhaust, intake, grilles, 5axis lip kit.

But currently waiting to see if that money will have to be used for more important reasons.

^yeah 5axis is a good choice especially for a WP you can notice it more on a lighter color then you can on darker ones, but yeah i get what you mean about spending it on other things, times are tough! lol and for me doing anything i think i'm done... after getting the wheels i feel like she's complete if anything i'd get rid of my sub and just get a sub for the side instead of having a big box taking up the whole trunk

K&N intake, NST pullies, get rid of the tsudo exhaust for a custom mandrel exhaust systems setup if I can't manage that then just get a new nicer looking N1 muffler to replace the tsudo thats all scratched up from someone using something to clean it with, Eibach sportlines and TRD struts, Eibach sway bars,

Sounds like me. I just want to get an aggressive stance on some nice wheels. I've got my mind set on a set of BBS wheels (LM or RS-GT, not sure yet) with the metallic gold face and chrome lip. I love how a blue car sits on a set of gold wheels (like the subys). Then just make my interior a little flashy with a set of knock-off Brides (Red). Oh and a set of Brembo brake covers in red.

K&N intake, NST pullies, get rid of the tsudo exhaust for a custom mandrel exhaust systems setup if I can't manage that then just get a new nicer looking N1 muffler to replace the tsudo thats all scratched up from someone using something to clean it with, Eibach sportlines and TRD struts, Eibach sway bars,

I just got a set of Raceland coilovers, so next up for my suspension would just be a set of Hotchkis sway bars front and rear, camber bolts, some nice drilled/slotted rotors. I've got a torque damper and zpi engine limiter that I've been waiting on warmer weather to install.

^yeah 5axis is a good choice especially for a WP you can notice it more on a lighter color then you can on darker ones, but yeah i get what you mean about spending it on other things, times are tough! lol and for me doing anything i think i'm done... after getting the wheels i feel like she's complete if anything i'd get rid of my sub and just get a sub for the side instead of having a big box taking up the whole trunk

As for you... Wth can't I meet a lady like you locally to talk to about cars?! Haha. Jk. BUT we all do need to put the WP's on the map... All the fm, silver, and white tc's get all the love.

Sounds like me. I just want to get an aggressive stance on some nice wheels. I've got my mind set on a set of BBS wheels (LM or RS-GT, not sure yet) with the metallic gold face and chrome lip. I love how a blue car sits on a set of gold wheels (like the subys). Then just make my interior a little flashy with a set of knock-off Brides (Red). Oh and a set of Brembo brake covers in red.

waveline pearl just doesn't pull off gold too well in my opinion. WP either needs chrome, silver, black, or gunmetal I think.

the torque damper is a pain in the rear! i'm taking mine off i can't take it anymore i had it for over a year but the shaking noise just finally got to me, it does work don't get me wrong but give it a while and it will annoy the ISH out of you trust me
Well, I'm just sick of wheel-hop.. I guess I'll put it on and see how it goes. I want my car to feel a bit more responsive. The coil-overs are on! The front rubs the splash guard when I hit a bump, but it's not bad at all. I was expecting a harsh ride but it's still comfortable and smooth, helped handling out a lot.

i have ES motor mounts and used to have a DME engine damper and it was overkill and rattled wayyy too much that i decided to remove it.

the rubbing you'll get used to my boyfriend was on sprint springs and everytime there was a little bump it rubbed like i said you just kinda get used to it so no worries unless you wanna rip off the splash guards and i dont think you wanna do that lol Well, I'm just sick of wheel-hop.. It doesn't bother me at all, I love the stance. I'm waiting for better weather to snap some good pictures, I got it aligned this morning, so now it's good to go. I'm just going to leave the splash guards and let it scrub.
