Default bearing or tire noises

Has anyone had any wheel bearing problems with their box? I have a noise between 25 and 30 that is a steady rolling bearing noise. I think I will visit the dealer tomorrow before my warranty runs out. I am at 33 something thousand. Must be time for things to start happening. I was just wondering if anyone has had bearing problems.

Sounds like you have tire issues? A bad wheel bearing will start to make noise like at 10-15 mph. Seems that your tires might have feathered edges on the outside, causing the "bearing" noise you hear.
Let us know what the dealership says it is, I'd like to know also...

Took it to the dealer today and Metro you are right on. Tires are cupped and making it noisy. Will get new ones before winter. I did rotate them regularly so no idea why they wore like they did. I drive very conservatively
Still the best car I have ever owned other than my old FJ40 land cruiser.

Glad to hear your problem is fixed. I work at a dealership, so I hear customer complaints all of the time, so I knew what the problem could be...

I currently own a hummer h2, my xB, used to own an avalanche, durango, and a couple of other cars. the xB, hands down, is my most favorite car out of all of them including the hummer.

which explains why my h2, that i bought in nov. of 2003 with 1 mile on it - now only has 19k miles on it - 3 years later!

my box is 18 months old or so and is up to 16,300 miles.... it's easy to see which car i prefer ;]

The price of fuel and where you live must play a role also.
