i always thought about doing everything c/f.

i remember watching a episode of street fury, and some company was coming out with all c/f doors for various car models.

 

cf pillars...

 

whats the point?

half the people with c/f dont even use it for what its meant to do.

and when i see a c/f fuel door, my jaw drops, in stupidity, like why would you pay for something like that? it gives you almost no weight reduction.

 

because it is pleasing to the person who buys these parts, why dont you worry less about what ppl do with their cars and worry about yours, i think SL would be much happier

 

i dont care about weight.. it looks good.. i wouldnt go with CF doors and CF fenders... only CF hood, hatch , spoiler and windsplitter.. thats it... the rest of it should stey regular color.

i dotn know why it bites tc909 so hard in thea$$, ppl do stuff to their cars because thats what they want to do, they dont do it to please him

i think c/f on show cars is RICE: race inspired cosmetic enhancement.

I life CF, IMO it would be to much and it will look fugly.

 

i rememebr someone posting a pic of an all c/f nsx in japan, everything was c/f, but i cant find the pic

 

I have to agree with tc9o0... CF is a weight reduction technique, not a cosmetic application.

I plan to get the Kaminari CF hood and then have it painted.

 

^^ hah the weight you save from OEM ==> Kaminari will be negligable once you get it painted. so there for its for looks again. but w/e i used to love CF but im all set with it now untill i can find someone who has teh perfect weave and design that im lookin for. i love the weave of the kami hood, but if only they made an OEM verson. id rock that. or maybe a different vent. i dont wanna rock a hood that so many people have.

i honestly could care less what you think... i think my car looks good... it has its flaws and a few things i still wanna do and fix... but over all im happy with it
