Yeah there is a B & M company. I thought they only did tranny stuff but I could be wrong, they might have moved up in the market from the last I took a look at them.
Placebo 09-30-2004, 01:06 AM sweet :D

No, but unlike the mfg instructions, the speedo needle and either the gas or tach will have to be pulled. I have done it several times and it is very safe.
I did find the kit

From L/R Oil Pressure, Oil temp, water temp. I may put one more in somewhere for fuel/air. Probably where the xB on the dash is.
AC Autotechnic is selling these cheap right now to get them into the market. Call Dan at www.splittingimagez.com soon for a great price. Some of his suppliers have already doubled their prices and keep getting orders. The Envision line is also available and is totally black when off with a chrome ring. The lighting on those is identical to my speedo
hotbox05 09-30-2004, 02:13 AM so how hard was it to install and run the wires/sensors ?

I will find out  Right now it's just 12v. I will have time this weekend and will post my findings.

A fuel/air gauge would be useless unless it's a wideband o2 setup. Those come with the guages and cost around 500 dollars.
superjeer 09-30-2004, 01:12 PM I had thought about doing this, but how bad is the glare from the light through the windshield? Did the kit come with that plate to mount the gauges? <-- NM, see you have a full dash kit now.
BrockAbabba 09-30-2004, 02:14 PM The guages have a 50% dim feature, which was activated during those photos. I'll be posting video of how my truck looks when in operation (looking to see what the cops see)
As far as mounting plate, no. I had to space them myself (or if you are talking about the metal looking dash kit I have, it's all across the dash). Spacing was easy! I even wish I had put a fourth guage in.
I measured that I had 9 inches to deal with. Each guage was 2". 2x3=6 leaving me 3 inches to space. I chose 1/2" spacing and drilled the holes 2.5 inches apart (referring to the center of the hole. Each hole was 1.25" above the dash. I was really worried about that whole thing until I sat in my front seat with a tape measure and a sharpie.
Be happy to take this on phone if you are gonna do it yourself. PM ME!
