I have been hearing a light pop noise that I can feel through the brake pedal when I press it a slow speeds. I am no car mechanic by any means and the dealer told me I needed a new brake fit kit. Its not expensive but I was just curious if anyone has had this problem or knows what exactly the fit kit is and whether or not someone inexperienced can install it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

A fit kit, from what I know about them, is a kit used for your calipers. The clicking or popping noise that you are hearing is probably the actual caliper tapping the back of the pad.

I have never installed one, so I don't know how hard it would be. But from what I have read, it's not rocket science.
