Since the prices are fixed I'm guessing the commision is minimal.

probably, because those are options then.

big difference in selling a $14,500 car and one loaded at around $21,000.

Well, when selling scions it's completly different than selling any other car. Other car we can be kind of pushy. With scion, we have to let the customer decide when he is ready to move to the next step.

Any other salespeople sell only Scions? Or do most of you sell both Toyota and Scion?

$100 a Scion does sound really rough.

My salesman was the exact opposite he couldn't wait to sell this car to me. It might be different for them up here or maybe he is just really into the Scions. Either way I am happy :D

:P :P I guess I'm a bit more fortunate than others her in H-town. I get to sell both scions and toyotas. No flat rates for me. I get 25% on the front and 5% on the back including finance. I am also able to combine my scion and toyota sales for bonuses and such. It works out in the end for me. I love it...... I do prefer to sell scions though, I really hate negotiating with toyotas customers. :?

I am also the Scion financial services manager which gives me a salary. I have a different pay scale than anyone else @ my dealership. It's an awesome set up because I don't have to pressure people into buying. It allows me to act more like customer service and less like a pushy salesmen!!

Same here.... but I get an $8/hr draw and make $113+ per car. My highest commission for far was on an auto tC with 18's, ground effects, spoiler, and 6-disk... I got $290 for that one.

I am the Scion champion for Fletcher Jones Toyota/Scion in Las Vegas. $100.00 per car is the norm here. :mrgreen: :lol:

yeah, i can sell both too, but i don't bother with toyota unless one of my customers ask for it. i don't take any ups at all. i just sit at my desk and take phone calls, im's from scionlife, and turns :P but, anywho, yeah i don't get paid much per car either. more of a how much units moved at the end of the month thing.

I have been the Scion Manager for a year now. I am on salary for the department. However, the scion sales people make $150 per car I believe.
