Since the prices are fixed I'm guessing the commision is minimal.
Anyone have first hand knowledge?

DibujoB 10-01-2004, 12:24 AM I can definately vouch for this one.... Run a search (top right corner of the screen)....this has been discussed to death. unik_one 10-01-2004, 12:26 AM How about a Scion sales WOman ? Negotiation-free = commission-free I work for salary, plus a flat per car. Takes the pressure off of ME, too !! :D qualityscion 10-01-2004, 12:28 AM How about a Scion sales WOman ? Negotiation-free = commission-free I work for salary, plus a flat per car. Takes the pressure off of ME, too !! :D Same here!!!!! :D DibujoB 10-01-2004, 12:30 AM I get $100 for every Scion I sell. Milhamscion 10-01-2004, 01:57 AM I get $100 for every Scion I sell. I'll 2nd that! GERMsRIDE 10-01-2004, 02:33 AM $100 per car regardless of how much the buyer jacks up the price with mods ???? chucksu 10-01-2004, 02:52 AM $100 per car regardless of how much the buyer jacks up the price with mods ???? probably, because those are options then. GERMsRIDE 10-01-2004, 03:03 AM big difference in selling a $14,500 car and one loaded at around $21,000. xbbox 10-01-2004, 03:14 AM At Ray Brandt in Louisiana we get $150. no_xB_yet 10-09-2004, 04:32 AM When I showed interest in the xB my Toyota salesman didn't seem too excited in my choice. I figured he wasn't going to make too much $$$. xbbox 10-09-2004, 12:08 PM When I showed interest in the xB my Toyota salesman didn't seem too excited in my choice. I figured he wasn't going to make too much $$$. Well, when selling scions it's completly different than selling any other car. Other car we can be kind of pushy. With scion, we have to let the customer decide when he is ready to move to the next step. ShadyEye16 10-09-2004, 01:31 PM Any other salespeople sell only Scions? Or do most of you sell both Toyota and Scion? Milhamscion 10-09-2004, 01:42 PM Dedicated (sp?) Scion guy here!! no_xB_yet 10-09-2004, 01:59 PM Dedicated (sp?) Scion guy here!! Wow, Dan! You only sell Scions and you only make $100/sale? Sounds tough! FeeLTHeBuRN 10-09-2004, 02:12 PM $100 a Scion does sound really rough. When I showed interest in the xB my Toyota salesman didn't seem too excited in my choice. I figured he wasn't going to make too much $$$. My salesman was the exact opposite he couldn't wait to sell this car to me. It might be different for them up here or maybe he is just really into the Scions. Either way I am happy :D nairod 10-09-2004, 02:42 PM :P :P I guess I'm a bit more fortunate than others her in H-town. I get to sell both scions and toyotas. No flat rates for me. I get 25% on the front and 5% on the back including finance. I am also able to combine my scion and toyota sales for bonuses and such. It works out in the end for me. I love it...... I do prefer to sell scions though, I really hate negotiating with toyotas customers. :? Milhamscion 10-09-2004, 03:25 PM Dedicated (sp?) Scion guy here!! Wow, Dan! You only sell Scions and you only make $100/sale? Sounds tough! I am also the Scion financial services manager which gives me a salary. I have a different pay scale than anyone else @ my dealership. It's an awesome set up because I don't have to pressure people into buying. It allows me to act more like customer service and less like a pushy salesmen!! florencescion 10-09-2004, 05:08 PM Dedicated (sp?) Scion guy here!! Same here.... but I get an $8/hr draw and make $113+ per car. My highest commission for far was on an auto tC with 18's, ground effects, spoiler, and 6-disk... I got $290 for that one. Thejudge 10-09-2004, 05:36 PM I am the Scion champion for Fletcher Jones Toyota/Scion in Las Vegas. $100.00 per car is the norm here.  empleh 10-09-2004, 05:55 PM yeah, i can sell both too, but i don't bother with toyota unless one of my customers ask for it. i don't take any ups at all. i just sit at my desk and take phone calls, im's from scionlife, and turns :P but, anywho, yeah i don't get paid much per car either. more of a how much units moved at the end of the month thing. kikimaja 10-09-2004, 06:12 PM How about a Scion sales WOman ? Negotiation-free = commission-free I work for salary, plus a flat per car. Takes the pressure off of ME, too !! :D I have been the Scion Manager for a year now. I am on salary for the department. However, the scion sales people make $150 per car I believe. |
