For me Dade= Miami and Broward= Fort Lauderdale because if someone from another county/state/country asked you where you live and you said Kendall they are not going to know wtf you are talking about.

He gets his mail addressed to "Miami, Florida". Not Kendall. Kendal is not in city limits proper but it is most certainly considered "Miami" for postal purposes and telling outsiders where you live.

yesterday on the back porch, near his beloved car.... we read aloud from this book.

It was a perfect day yesterday. That book is a perfect book penned and privately published by the Quaker man who mentored me as a child, as my next door neighbor. A man born the year 1900. It recalls growing up on a farm near Dayton, Ohio.

Which is why I recall the Ohio River, so key to that state.

Quakers. I am not a Quaker but I try to emulate them to some degree.
My grandmother's first cousin was a Quaker named Drew Pearson. He became a famed writer in his day. I am not. I would rather not be famed anywhere but at SL... for being a half-decent friend to others.

I used to get A's and B's in org. But just pray you never have to take physical chemistry. The calculus in it is bloody ridiculous. Hardest class I ever had in my life.

just make sure you study up on partial derivatives before taking the class or you'll be totally lost. I had calc 2 and i never even heard of partial derivatives before that class. I had friends in calc 3 that didn't know what they were looking at on my pchem homework...
