I have an auto now and my Monster Knob, from my gen 1 manual, threads were way to big for it. I couldn't find anything that would make it work and was about to try and sell it and buy a new knob to fit when my father-in-law came to the rescue. He has a machinist friend who made a threaded adapter so it would fit. I'm so happy to have my knob back in the car. I think it really suites the new interior and it feels so much better than the OEM knob.

I hate to bring up such an old thread, but after searching a whole bunch of knobs, I finally decided on this one. It appears they make one for an automatic XB2 that screws right in for only $40.... Thanks for the pics!
