Yeah I have been waiting as well. I cant believe they have not released any new information yet. Everything on the nextgen page for the xD is still the same, and no official pricing yet :( Not sure how much longer I can wait.

Yeah i have seen some info here on the forums, and a little bit in the reviews posted about the xD (edmunds and a few others). However nothing official from Scion. The prices on a few accessories wouldn't hurt either. :( I have been trying to hold off hoping atleast something would be released, but its starting to look like I may go with the Honda fit sport instead.

Well if the pricing for the 5Ax lip kit for the xD is the same as the xB..expect to pay around 1400.00 for it unpainted and uninstalled......I still need to get mine painted

It seems dumb that Scion would chance losing sales to the Honda Fit by delaying the xDs release so late. I don't get it???

I was at a Toyota dealership on Monday. Salesman chatted with me (trying to sell me the new xB with negitive.) I made a comment like "If only Toyota had them for sale about 6 months ago. I might of went with that route." Then we were talking about xD; he claims they will receieve xD's within two to three weeks.

im juz waintg :tap: for scion to put the info in there site so that we can start building this car because i really like it! scion knows that there is a good buzz around this car and it beat the fit according to edmunds so i dont know why they want to make us wait :lalala:

Saw a commercial on Comedy Central this morning for the Little Deviants and xD.

I could see my first xD as early as the 23rd. From what I could see CA dealers will probably have them 2-3 days before they make it to me in Phoenix.

Columbia, MO's Scion dealer is expecting their allocated amount in Mid-August.

we will have xD's allocated to us in our mid month allocation of July, but wont expect to see them land till late first week or early second week of august

I'm expecting news on around July 16 concerning pricing and delivery dates. It's just a hunch tho.

Arghh. Called 12 dealers within 50 miles and got drastically different results ranging from mid-August to late fall, but two did confirm that they expect allocations on the next list on 7/16. They didn't agree on how long it would take after the allocation to have them delivered. Anyone know (accurately) how that works?

Also arghh is the Scion site. If the allocations are starting then why isn't there any pricing or builder up there yet (thanks for the desktop wallpaper but I'm good)... and they are still marketing the xA as if you could have one built to order. Not surprising JD Power rated Scion third to last automaker site after Audi and VW (who wants to see their car breed with a rabbit anyway) - (http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/prnewswire/LATU70110072007-1.htm) I have to rely on ScionLife to find the hidden links such as the dates that the Scion Drive Tour is coming around... When you click on xD in the "scion new inventory" search it says "Coming July 2007" next to the "pre-order" form.

I can't speak for other regions, but the xD hit the NY production pipeline on july 1st. 188 total for the first month allocation. about a 3 to 1/ auto to manual ratio. Im thinking they will hit our inventory in about 1 week, and be at the dealership around the 2nd week in aug.

Just an educated guess.

Are there really that many more automatic drivers than manual drivers? It seems like a disappointing ratio for those of us manual lovers as it can be difficult to find a manual. And what is the deal with Dealers always offering you automatics after you have already asked for a manual. I would think anyone who asks for a manual isn't really willing to compromise on it.

Got a call from one of the dealers I have the "pre-order" in - they will have the first batch on the lot August 3rd. So hopefully by the end of august they will have something that's silver and manual at the same time.

Heard todday they were at the point in LA----about a week away from the Socal showrooms............

Local dealer said that they'd get one on the 27th. In the color I want, but with a very wrong transmission.

I just received my latest allocation and received five, with 3 being auto's and 2 being manual's. I've realized that the west coast is usually an allocation ahead of the east coast. Arrival times to dealerships here is around the 1st to 2nd week in August.

Our next allocation won't be until the 1st of August, with those cars hitting the dealership from the middle to the end of the month. It's always the cut on the 1st and 15th of every month though.

Just got word from the sales manager at Putnam Toyota in Burlingame, CA that they already have the XD in stock. I'm going down there on Friday to check. I hope he's not talking about the new XB.

It probably is, and he could probably sell instant water, so watch out.

The first ones in the SE are due the last week of July now, and in August the inventory will be rounding out.
