I like the idea of a moon roof but my xA didn't come with one. Has anyone added one to the xA yet? I know the limited edition RS 1.0 has one so it's not impossible to get one done or is it.? What's the advice out there??

I know it can be done, just not sure how hard.

i almost got one done, my dealership was gonna do it for 1200, the parts arrived and right when i took it to get it done, i changed my mind and traded it in for springs, clutch, and other parts
... i was too afraid of the leak even though they assured me it would not, it was warrantied for 3 yrs or something. the xa doesnt need a sunroof

The other option for a Moonroof is to get one of the xA Release Series. They come with a power moonroof and it's very nice. Of course, I might be biased.

Moonroofs are powered while sunroofs are popups w/ a latch. I think i'm right, but anyone correct me if i'm wrong.

I thought the diff was in the way they open. Both could be power, but I think 1 slides & the other pops open. :? No clue if thats right. Maybe they are the same thing just 1 has tint on it

I'm almost certain, but from what I recall

Sunroof: a panel that opens on your roof(doesn't matter how it opens), made of metal. . .

Moonroof: an all glass panel, with a shade, so that you can open it at night to "see the moon," and not freeze your butt off by opening it. Why else would it be made of glass, if it wasn't meant to be seen through? And why would you open the shade at anytime other than night. . . the sun would sear your head. That and you might as well just open the top.
