This is definitely a "Two each their own" topic but I am not really that impressed with either one of these redesigns. Let me start off with the XB.
This car looks like they took the original box concept and decided to stretch it out like a limo and add projector light bulbs. The cloth seats look like they are designed for FAT people. Not to mention the EPA estimated 22-28MPG...I'll pass.

As for the XD....I expected much MUCH more then what they are offering. It looks like they took the XA, made it a little taller, added a body kit, and beefed the engine up a MEEZLY 20 hp, and removed the rear window and called it newly redesigned. The interior looks like they are trying to make it look like a space shuttle controls and the seats, again, look like they were designed for fat people.

Sorry...I will stick to my XA until Scion comes out with a REAL redesign.

 

I just traded in my xB on an RS 3 xA and I love it!

BOTH of the new ones lack anything to get me excited enough to want one. I HATE the seats. Water baloon holders!!! And since when is ADDING a blind spot to the rear quarters a good thing!???!!! There's a car already out there like the new xB. The Chevy HHR. ... yeah... hate me.


I was not impressed when I saw the nubies on the net, and I'm less impressed with them out in traffic.

I didn't like xB2 too much, the boxy look is what made it unique. Now it just looks like a honda element. The xD isn't ugly but it's just not what I'm looking for in a car, although I'd kill for that extra 20Hp...... haha just joking.... or am I?

 

And from what I understand not only does it have 20 more HP, but it also will get better gas milage thanks to the Dual VVT-i (intake & exhaust) compared to current VVT-i which is only intake side. I want to see what kind of power the Dual VVT-i can make, especially with it tuned with a turbo!

 

Umm the EPA numbers are on the EPA's NEW number scale. What do you have against FAT people? What are you anorexic or are you bulimic?

 

I actually have little to no respect for fat people that are fat simply because they eat to much and are lazy. It isn't like it's hard to go out and not eat junk food every day and actually go out and physically exercise. The only time it is acceptable to be fat in my eyes is when you have a disorder of some sort where your body doesn't properly metabolize food.

For one comment on why fat people should get there act together? I guess I must have offended the 3 fat people above^. Illnist and Zillion are tools...don't even bother with what they have to say. They spend their whole lives on the internet stalking me because they are jealous and obsessed with me. Which is why they trolled me all the way to this bored. If the xd has better fuel economy, plus more room and hp, I would think of trading, but the est epa figures do not look that good.

I am fat, 326lbs. I was a skinny 196 lb wheelchair user til I started to take protein and body building supplements and got out of the wheelchair. Of course I built muscle and gained fat. Ive been on a coke and smoke diet after an on going battle with my weight and have lost 3 belt notches the past 2 weeks. I am sure working 2 full time call centers does not help to loose weight, but got to do what you got to do.

I like the ugly one. I just would like confirmation if he is a 94 year old male since he had that listed below his name. The xa must be cool or he is hip to be online and driving an xa.

I work 50-55 hours a week, today happened to be my odd day off. I own an xA, therefore, I visit the xA owners forum regularly, as well as xA team. Thus, the reason why I saw this thread. I thirded the vote to ban you, because you, sir, due to your ceaseless stupidity and lack of intelligence, have Craftsman written not only on your forehead, but on your backside as well.

I guess Sears just wanted to make sure that they didn't let you get away without properly branding their tool. Let me ask you this... do you come with a lifetime guarantee so I can return you for a new tool free of charge?

you need to fall back kid, dont go around running your mouth all cyber tough guy. We have been a pretty important part of the xA scene and have never had to deal with the kind of drama you bring to all sites.

Go back to mustang where acting like this is cool. You have no clue about anything you say, or who you are talking about.

 

I do have positive things to say about a lot of things. You guys just take the negative things and bend them all out of shape and act like I am some sort of evil villian on boards. Just because I criticized the changes they made to two cars and made a comment on why I have little respect for people who are fat out of choice doesn't mean I am a bad person.

I won't even bother responding to illnist and zillion they aren't even worth my time on the internet. Sad isn't it?
