Well i just received my front lip and side skirts from Kevin at Nia Bodykits out of Miami. They currently work on the tC's and they have a kit for the Mazda 6.

Its made out of Hand laid fiberglass.. the kit its self was designed and made by his own hands....currently there is only 4 owners of the side skirts me being one, and 2 other guys in Orlando and one in Miami.

Hoping to have it painted and installed soon.....

ya that is just the front lip.....the sides are not on that car.... but i think it looks good

How it cuts off at the top is so dumb looking but it would look like a crazy ___ bumper if you molded it all the way up to the middle section of the bumper kind of like the sides of a kaminari kit. That would look super cool!

well the pics above does not have the side skirts on it..just the stock ones.....

but its going to be painted flint mica...just need to get the paint so i can do it

You are correct...they are going to Sibling Rivalry in Jacksonville taking some kits to sell if they have interest. No interest they dont bring n e kits.

how much was it?? i never seen the rear kit... its just my thought im not a fan on NIA side skirts maybe ill try the OEM lip sideskirts and if five axis release the rear and it can buy seperate, ill try it or NIA rear if im going to like it...other than that im undecided on the rear kit

i saw jorge's.....i kinda liked the side skirts, but they were too low..the front is too aggressive..........it looks good, but not for me.........i also saw the nia kit on a black cherry pearl tc at the hollywood dealership, once again too aggresive for my taste

How hard is this kit to install. Do you have make any cuts into bumper like the OEM one. How is the fittment!

i dont have the kit...but i've seen more than one person with it since the business is miami based and not so far from my area....and when i asked, at least as far as the front bumper is concerned, it just snaps on, you can use 3m tape to make urself sleep better at night, but thats all

The NIA lip is one of the few kits that you just snap on the bumper with no modifications!! all kits should be like that!!! thats why im getting it i hear that the rs1 needs to be moded the jp doesnt fit at all!!!

finally got the lip they finally have it up for sale! :bow: i feel like a lil kid waiting for santa clause lol CANT WAIT!!

Wow...looks good but you need a drop badly...

the kit was easy to install, i did it with a friend in less than 15 min! it uses the stock screws. it doesnt even need double sided tape. the fitment is exellent!
i want to drop it but i wanted to get the kit first to see how much i need to drop it.

That looks really nice jdmtc2008! I love how the kit easily screws in using oem screws, and it's mad cheap too!If I wasn't so scared of rocking this on Boston streets I would definitely be buying this.

saw the actual nia tc with the kit two weeks ago at a scion show in hollywood, fl. have to say fitment of the kit is real good the car is also loaded with some other goodies. got to speak with kevin...this kit is real nice if i could afford it i would... ohh i was told it is 500 installed but not painted.

The way the front lip sticks out past the fender annoys the hell out of me. However it does make the car look aggressive.

nice is your lip painted niveks? or is that gel coat?

I think the surface of the lip is too wavy and bumpy? and the front lip doesnt match the rest of the lip kit. maybe if the fender portion doesnt raise up as high and the surface was smoother and flatter it'd looks pretty darn good.

other than that those are pretty much my only complaints.

definately not a bad looking kit.

maybe it'll look beetter in person, but Im just bothered by how the surfaces arent totally flat where they should be?

the kit is not bumpy, it pretty smooth. those pics are with the kit just like i got it! i havent sent it to the shop to get it preped and painted. but i swear people think its already painted lol thats how good it looks and fits :bow:

the quality is not bad its like every other non oem lipkit except it fits on the best out of all of them i had the rs1 big peace of $%!# i switched because this kit really hugs on to the car and it does give it an agressive loos

the corners on the rear piece go reallllly low. with the sw tc up there it seems like he only has a few inches of clearance. i can just imagine going down the street, hitting a little bump and looking back seeing my rear flying on the freeway. too low for me. im sure u wont see any slammed tCs with this kit.

the reflectors give the tc a whole new look! you know how many people thought my car was a lexus, or acura!

whats the cost roughly to have the rear molded. my rear was hit and has two screw holes the the drivers license plate. the lip wont cover the holes so im thinkin of havin it molded. an oem rear bumper is repairable right?

it shouldnt be that much i mean its about $90 just to paint it so maybe a lil less than 200 to mold it and paint it. but it also depends on how bad your bumper is

hardly anything maybe like 15-20 extra for the shaving

Look at any car that had body work done, if the car was not painted at once you will always can tell the difference in shade no matter how good of a job the shop did

i acctually really like the front lip, i saw it up close and personal at Hollywood scion on a black cherry, and it looked good as hell!!, now the side skirts and the rear look too much like a "body kit" not a lip kit, i was seriously thinkin of this front with the oem side and rear lips!!

the kit lowers about 2" in if im not mistaken the blue tc is also lowered on s-tech

hell no, thos are the china crap, they are only good for the price, but no quality at all, pay an extra 100 and get your-self the best fogs lights next to OEM

So has anyone with this kit experienced any problems with the rear bumper lip? It seems like it hangs really low and I'm not sure if it would be an issue or not.

I drive with the kit drazy, i have had it one for about two weeks, and I have yet sraped or hit anythihng, I am on s-techs and 18" rims.

It does sit low, but its a good low not a drastic one either

the way the kit is designed is to give you an aggressive look.When I went to go pick it up and have it test fitted, I was like damn that is super low, ____ ima have to re-evaluate the situation and maybe think about getting it, but then I was like screw it, I guess I will deal with it.

The front lip is about 4” off the floor the sides the same and rear abou the same as well, the only place where the rear is an issue is where the corner meets the tire.

Think about it, when you go over speed bumps the tire goes first then the lip, the lip does not sty dwn there, it rolls with the car, the only part where you have to be carefull is the sides because of stress being brought down from the force coming down. But other than that is all good.

Once again I will post pics as soon as I am don’t with the car.

FYI i know someone locally with a BCP who has it with 17" enkei's.. now is he a bad person for having it no.. but i think that guy is cool guy...but i hate the kit plain and simple.

looks okay on Fm....other colors.....eh..........

i agree with peter. this kit is wack, and it's one of the ugliest i've seen. i dont hate ppl with it...just the kit.

the quality is not that good.. i would not buy it.. i saw 2 car with this bodykit.. on of them got the best of the show tropy.. it may look good from 50 feet but from upclose its just !@#$!%!$%!$%!#$%

Actually I have to disagree with that statement.... the fit is perfect and is strong... I was in accident with front lip kit on and the only damage to the kit was the screw hole cracked and that was it...

Now Im lowered with h-tech and I already hit the ground few time pulling out of driveways and what not and the kit did not crack or anything...

As to how low it is... with h-tech and 18" inch wheels the kit is 4" off the ground at the front of side skirts with s-tech its like 3" off the ground.. dont hate bc you dont know how to drive with lowered car

wow that car is sick. your not the first to say that the kit is real strong. i've seen people said they hit pavements thinking that their kit will be fawked but it survives.

Justin... its not worth fixing the bumper for now... I will wait for someone to hit me so my insurance can fix it... lol... and thats bc the fender is bent at the edge and the bumper too... you can see in the first picture...

just quick update after those pictures... I was making a u-turn hit the shoulder of the road pretty hard... the front lip have lil crack underneath and 3 spots that fiberglass its chipped but nothing major... just some bondo work and touch up paint should slow the problem

were u the tc, that me and the xb were driving wit after the stuart show? at night?

yea... I was driving to Ft. Lauderdale to go to the Hollywood show but end up in Weston... in Hyatt for $80 bucks... the best damn hotel room I ever been too :)

I agree with tcridinclean 100%. The fitment on the front looks like crap, the fogs look like crap, the grills don't match, and the paint on the lip kit looks off.

the fitment of the lip looks perfect, but i see the gap between the bumper and driver side fender. might be a loose screw. but the lip looks sexy :love:

doesnt he have just the front lip and didnt it crack when he hit something while he driving on the highway? what do u expect when u r going 65+ and tank the front of your car against something

even the stock bumper will break if hit on the hwy. but the good thing about fiberglass it can be refiberglassed and the stock bumper cant.

i still think this kit is ugly.

I think its the best kit out there period. plus pulling up next to a rs1 or ps1 or whatever other name they have for it, is awsome

I just got my kit in the other day. They also gave me a pair of their prototype eyelids (Thanks Kevin). I dont know what people are talking about but this and the JP kit are deff my two favs, not only do I like this one better, but its cheaper, and the fitment is great and hugs all the contours of the car. Esp the rear lip. Very happy, and this thread was deff the final selling point for me getting this kit. Thanks

nope....my body/paint guy said it was the best kit he's seen to fit to the tC bumper. he molded my lip kit onto my front and rear bumper.

I'm torn on the NIA kit... not feel the front but might do a little mix and matching...

no it's actually not my everyday car anymore. i have an xD as my daily driver. for anyone who wants to see new pics of my car with the nia kit, i will make sure to post some more tonight cause i just got the lip of my wheels painted to match my car as well.

The kit is ok lookin its too bulky for my taste reminds me of the body kits that they have on the need for speed series.
