I'm so happy. I ordered a 2005 PW xB today, with floor mats, scion security, and the fog lights. can anyone tell me how many miles a good break-in takes? and explain how to use the security system, i don't have the car yet, should be here next week.

If you lived in Los Angeles, I would say make a hi-speed run to Vegas and back and it will be broken in

I figure that some real answers were already given so you can handle a smart a*s answer now :D

Welome, this is a very friendly group with lots of answers, and hook up with some locals, if they are like the Inland Empire, they are just as friendly in person as they are on the board

I still have a couple more questions. my salesman was a dumbass, so can anyone explain how VVT-i works? I have a couple friends with VTEC in thier hondas, so it engages at about 4500 rpm, is it somewhat the same?

VVT-i only deals with timing & spark advance where VTEC does lift. VTEC = VVTL-i I think some where on the site has a good explain on it.
