I know it's been done before but it just looks sooo nice on black. Hopefully I'll have a proper camera from another club member and get some decent pics.

Yeah, it is, good eye. My wife has MS and needs to use a motorized chair. The ramp is actually why I bought the xB, all the mods I really wasn't thinking about until after I bought it.

The no-skid floor was kind of horrible though, so I swapped it with bamboo.

Sometimes the reason something's been done before is because it looks good. It looks good!

Why does it seem the front is lowered, and the back is raised?

probably because of the wheelchair set up
theres probably added braces to suport the ramp and other stuff

yea ...looking good!!! and the reason the rear is up higher than the front is due to the fact of the wheelchair ramp and i think cuz some of those wheelchairs wiegh an awful lot think its the battries in them... there is a place by me that does dodge vans and they are higher in the rear also.. blaahhh enough of that.. lookin sweet vettereddie and the bamboo floor is defintly personlized!

To have the incline for the ramp, the gas tank needed to be moved forward and down on the vehicle, so the rear was raised to keep it from dragging or being a hazard. They are also stiffer to support a 350 lb electric wheelchair + the person's weight. The front height is stock, but since the rear is raised, the front axle acts as a lever pivot point and drops the front bumper down. I'm looking at getting half-wheel covers made for the rear fender to cover the gap but I'm not sure how it will look. Bagging is not an option since it would expose the gas tank when lowered.

to section the floor like that did they change to an independent rear suspension? If you get a chance snap a photo of the rear suspension.
