I've searched the forum and gone to the Zaino website, but I am still confused. After reading all the posts, I decided to start using Zaino products. But what do I really need? There are so many products to choose from & I don't want to get some stuff I really could do with out. Don't have a ton of moulah.
In the past, I have never really tried to take care of my old crapmobiles paint. But now that I have my XA rs 1.0, I'd like to keep it looking good. Right now it is so shiny and beautiful, it almost glows.
I have very very little free time however. I need something fairly easy. Maybe the Zaino system, wouldn't be the best choice? Ugh, I'm sorry for being so ignorant. :oops:
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Everyone who uses a paint protection system has a favorite that they use think is the best. As for Zaino, if you are happy with your paint (no swirl marks, scratches, micro marring, etc.) then all you would need is the Z-2, ZFX, and Z-6. Even if the paint is new, I would recommend using a clay bar prior to applying any protectant. I think you will be amazed at how smooth your finish is afterwards. If you don't have a lot of free time then Zaino (or other paint protectants) will definitely work for you. It takes some time to prep and apply the coats but after that all you need to do is wash and maybe an occasional quick detail with the Z-6. Depending on where you live, Zaino would probably last anywhere from 4-9 months.

Hope this helps :D

My wife and I just finished washing and applying Zaino to our two cars: my xB and her Camry. I bought the following:

* Zaino ZFX accelerator drops.
* Zaino Z-2 polish.
* Zaino applicator (comes free with purchase)
* Package of 16 MicroFiber Car Towels ($10 at Cosco)

It was the easiest wash and wax (actually polish) job that I have ever done. Hope this helps. :D RPM

I would recommend also using the Z1 Polish Lok (probably only need to use this once, but will help to prep the surface for the following Z2 coat(s).)

I also would recommend the Z7 car wash --- this is formulated for Zaino polishes and even includes some polish in the wash -- so you are actually re-applying polish every time you wash.

I've never used the ZFX product -- just allowed the Z2 to dry for at least an hour.

REMEMBER: VERY THIN COATS!!!

I bought the kit it was kind of pricey but it had everything I wanted at a cheaper price than buying it separately..

with zaino you can let it completely dry onto your car? I thought you had to take it off before it dries to your car?

The directions for ZFX + Z-2 say mix 1 ounce Z-2 with 4 drops of ZFX and shake bottle. Then apply polish and allow to haze (dry) for 30 minutes. Then remove haze with towel.

This worked great for me. I put on three thin coats and used up the 1 ounce mix on my xB. :D RPM
