View Full Version : Tein is making our springs!!
bb_ist 07-13-2007, 06:55 PM Yea, apparently tein is still in production for our springs and I was very surprised by its drop rate.
F 2.0" R 2.9"

Might as well get this when it comes out
bBlover 07-13-2007, 06:59 PM H-Techs. :lalala:

No, I think these are S-techs.
Amoxaphobic 07-13-2007, 07:02 PM Tein is the shiznit
uberspeed 07-13-2007, 08:20 PM Good news. I hope the aftermarket starts catching some momentum.
tCTaco 07-13-2007, 08:23 PM Hmm....nice drop...and it says S-Techs....HURRY UP DAMMIT!
sizzlinscion 07-13-2007, 08:58 PM those drop numbers cant be correct. only 2" in the front and 2.9" in the back. that would look dumb. make the car look like it is sagging in the rear.
wait i see....you read it wrong, its a 2.9" drop all around not a 2" in the front and 2.9" in the back
tCTaco 07-13-2007, 09:04 PM It sits really high right now in the rear, that would prolly level it
uberspeed 07-13-2007, 09:38 PM Their table is all messed up, tough to tell. But it looks as if they meant to say 2" front and 2.9" rear.
sizzlinscion 07-13-2007, 10:24 PM The rear is supposed to sit higher than the front.
Yea there table is way messed up. Maybe the ment the front is 2.9" and the rear is 2". They put the drop in the spring rate column.
tCTaco 07-13-2007, 10:39 PM The rear is supposed to sit higher than the front.
Maybe if I drove an SRT-4 Neon.
If I lowered just the rear about 1" it would level the car.
So maybe its a typo, but it still wouldnt be bad if it was 2 in the front and 2.9 in the rear. That way it would level the car. Either way, Im glad to see that I am going to have options other than just TRD.
eight08customs 07-14-2007, 03:13 AM the back of the XB does sit higher than the front. so the 2.9 in the rear will make it level. my car dopped with the custom TRD Springs 2 inch all around the rear is still sitting higer than the front.
Troys XB "Five Axis" Has the prototype of the tein springs.
bBlover 07-14-2007, 03:47 AM H-Techs. :lalala:
No, I think these are S-techs. I know that, I was saying they need to make H-Techs for us that want to go low but not too low.
sizzlinscion 07-14-2007, 07:51 AM well if the h-techs go any lower you would be too low. why would they make h-techs that can go as low as the old s-techs. just buy the s-techs.

H-Techs are not lower than S-Techs. The H-tech is supposed to me a softer spring and not as low a drop as the S-Techs...
bBlover is saying they need to come out with the H techs for the people who want Teins but don't want a huge drop as generally the S-Techs are...
bBlover 07-14-2007, 02:35 PM ^ BINGO! Sorry if my wording was wrong. I just re-read and went huh? But Liquid pretty much said what I meant.

I think what you wrote made perfect sense.... Reading Is FUNdamental

they already make h-tech like that
Liquid-R1 07-14-2007, 05:50 PM they already make h-tech like that
For the 2008 xB? I don't think they are out yet. I just checked the site. It shows currently in development...
Here are the specs for the H-Techs according to Tein's website. Shows currently in development

And as you can see here, lowering the back and leaving the front stock doesn't effect the appearance of the car. Doesn't look all ghetto.

Johnathon- Which springs do you have in the rear. Looks nice. Makes me think about just changing rear springs on mine.
