What a day, like Randy has spare time in the middle of a major bag job, he finds a way to fit me in on a Sunday. Thanks Dude!

This was just my camera phone, more pics soon.

Ummm, what are you doing to my car?

So the Gen 1 xB springs work on here?

So the Gen 1 xB springs work on here? They work, it helps to have an experienced suspension tech do the install. I'm lucky to be in Randode's area.

????
Shouldn't be any worse then the 1st Gen xB. I have 4 xBs, 1 xA, and 1 tC under my belt. I think I can handle it, lol! I would have thought that the spring rate for the 1st Gen xB would have been a little less then the second cuz it's smaller. That's the only reason I was asking.

So do the shocks and struts from the 1st Gen work as well?

You should be fine. Struts are different, shocks I would assume are different also.

So I should be fine just going with a 2" drop and not changing the struts and shocks? I know on the 1st gen, if you went any lower than the 1" TRDs, you would be changing them out after about 10,000 miles whether you wanted to or not. I just wanna know now so I know if I need to get everything now or not. Thanks.

What's the part number on the shocks and struts anybody?
I want to see if the 1st gen xb ones will work. If so, I'm going to be placing an order this weekend, :)

how's the ride on these springs with 18's? This is pretty much the setup i am thinking of going with.... 17's or 18's is the big debate.

I would go with the 18's, you can still run a 40 series tire. I'm running the 225/40R18's. The ride is fine the only complaint is that it is choppy sometimes depending on the road. Since these are gen 1 goldlines springs and progressive, the "smooth" riding coils are compressed a little. Mainly because of the weight of the xB2. I love it other than that.

can I be next?
I will be buying a set of springs Very soon. I am just deciding between the 08 goldlines, the 1st gen goldlines, or 1st gen stockers. I just got my wheels and tires installed today. I went with MSR style 103 18x7.5 with toyo proxes4 215/40/18 and I am not posting any pics till after I get the springs and get it lowered cause It needs it bad and I know thats what everyone will say anyway.
