just a question for everyone about the warranty.
i would never have the heart to work vanessa till she is almost dead.
Normally some part is going to break or wear out. To drive it until it just won't go anymore without it being related to a specific part failure would probably put you over the mileage side of the warranty
hell no!!!!! thats my pride and joy thats my first wife next to my girl friend. i love vanessa to death. people say we shouldnt get close to our materials f@#$ that, thets my baby and i plan on keeping her till forever

LOL , sometimes people ask these roundabout questions. Just had to make sure. Although, I must say it is a little frightening how you talk about your car as if it were living. But, none the less I understand where you're coming from.
lol its not frightening, I do the same thing with mine :D ... only I'm single
but I like the single life ;) Anyway, as long as your not hitting the rev limiter or doing something stupid that the ECU will be recording you should be clear on warranty...however...if they can prove that the damage caused was do to something you did over a short period of time then no they will not warranty it. They have a good idea of what will do what to an engine and it dieing from stress that happened for an extended period time, but within a short segment would be something they would look closely at. But yes, the ECU will record when the rev limiter gets hit, so that option is out LOL.
I only say it does b/c it would make sense when Toyo would be determining if abuse was cause for failure...they are very hush hush on that. I talked to a mechanic guy at another dealership here about it and he said they weren't allowed to say, but that he has a lexus and mercedes and they did...so I would assume that most cars do record that kinda of stuff. I would assume the data for the recording is not very big size wise so It could keep it forever really, who knows unless someone leaks that info out. Again its just an assumption but I wouldn't do it too much and then try to get warranty work done.
