Hey guys, is the docs basic setup the only thing I really need? which setup would you recommend? Also, has anyone posted a diy?

pretty sure basic is just the shifter portion and the washer like thing (i forgot what its called). i actually just bought 1 and it came in today (woo). i got the premium which is shifter base bushings. cable bushings and shifter. the bushings do more for stiffness and feel (correct me if I am wrong).

The DIY for doc isos shifter is actually on his site. Its not in the car but it still shows a great way. Theres no words just pictures but it works pretty well imo. Theres a DIY around here somewhere for TWM.

Edit:
Here it is

Thats a good write up for pretty much all the shifters.

height is what u want it to be. i just installed mine today and its an amazing difference. It seriously feels like a new car. I havent put my cable bushings in yet tho. It got too dark to really see. the throws are significantly different. the distance really makes it feel good.

the extreme and ultimates arent any different than the premium except u get a shift **** and a full cage w/ the extreme

i have the ultimate, thats the cable bushings, cage risers, and the short shifter. with his standard reduction etc.
Its a RADICALLY shorter throw.
Personally, i love it. I'd never go back.
The cable bushings really help improve the feel and make things a lot tighter. Getting a weighted **** and delrin colar from him as soon as i can manage to mail him my stock shifter. heh

I thought his cable bushings made the biggest difference to the overall shifting experience. His shift ***** and matching boot collars are top notch too.

Go for the premium...it's only $95 after you return the stock shifter. The bushings made a HUGE difference in shifting...much more precise and no mushy area

Nice, you won't regret it. Also, I wish I knew this before I installed mine, but ScionLife has links to several install guides in the tech section.
