Boost Gauge for Supercharger, Which Vacuum Line?
I'm going to be getting the boost gauge below very soon. I have a TRD supercharger and would like to know which vacuum line I need to tap into when installing the boost gauge. Can somone tell me which one and, if possible, post a pic of the exact vac line? Thanks in advance!
Cool. I was just wondering if there was a preferred or more common line to tap. I searched and found someone suggested the throttle body or brake vacuum line. I guess I'll just wait to see how long the line that comes with the TRD one is and pick one! Thanks for the quick response, Brett.
BPV line is pretty easy to locate/use. You can see where I tapped into it, Brass Fitting.

And the AutoMeter I used to use. Changed to TRD because it has a more visible definition of change in PSI, and TRD s/c only goes up to 7psi anyways.

not sure. when i spoke to trd, they said they couldnt give me the msrp and that i had to call the dealer. you should be able to get them from dealers for 80-125 bucks. if you find anything cheaper for the black face version, let me know!
the gauge itself can be fitted to just about any boosted car with little or no modification. the only thing thats application specific is the a-pillar pod. im just going to throw that part out and mount it in the cubby hole. cant wait!
yea! just got the gauge in the mail. well, they sent me the wrong gauge originally (they sent the white face gauge by accident), anfdtoday i got the black face gauge. i hop[e to install it during the weekend! woooo! party time. lol. im drunk. later SL.
